Happy Birthday Nan

 

Good morning I'm here this morning with a card I did for an order, sorry the photo's are a bit pants but the light here is not the best for taking photo's. I've used pale pink papers from dovecraft teamed with some dark grey card and cut a gorgeous curve to the edge of the card with my spellbinders dies. The image is an old digital stamp from Di's Digi Stamps which I can't find on the blog, I have coloured it with promarkers and layered the balloon and the rose. a little bit of sparkle on the rose with stickles and I put glossy accents on the balloon. The numbers are from an old set of peel offs and the sentiment was done on the PC.

Summertime at Incy Wincy

This is one of the cards I made at Sarahs crop last month I had a great day and managed to get 4 cards/projects done. For this one I have used an image from Di's Digi's that I won a while ago, I've coloured him with promarkers and chalked the sky in. The papers are MME Quite Contrary and the pink ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons.

5 Cards The Same But Different!

Ok before we start let me say sorry this post is rather picture heavy, 5 cards all using the same layout, so I will keep this bit short and just give you the basic details.

The penguin with a christmas tree image is from Di's Digi's, the second penguin and eggbert are from Bugaboo, all have been coloured with promarkers. All the glitter bits are glamour dust. I have used my swiss dots and snowflake embossing folders for the backgrounds. The snowflake border is punched with a woodware border punch. The large snowflake is a sissix die and the smaller one is a woodware punch and all are held together with a brad from my stash. The sentiments are from Craftwork Cards. I have inked all the edges with either gold or silver ink just to pull each card together. 

Luminary

After seeing a fab luminary on Jak's blog I decided to have a go at one. I'm really pleased with how this has turned out especially as it's the first time I have attempted anything like this. 

The paper is I think MME but it's from my scrap drawer so not sure, I've used a woodware border punch and added some silver ribbon form hobby craft around both the top and bottom. A little bow secured with a brad on the bottom half and 3 punched snowflakes on the top to decorate it.

The image is a digi from Di's Digi's and is printed onto Vellum and coloured with promarkers which was a little tricky and much easier on the smaller area's, so if you are going to attempt something like this don't choose an image with large areas of one colour. I've used distress stickles on the trims on his hat and a snowwriter for under his feet and the falling snow.

Below you can see it lit up with a battery tea light which I got from Wilkinson's for 50p. Aimee has already decided that this is going in her room for christmas so I guess I may be making a couple more of these.

I have used the colours from the picture as my insiration for my card this week. I have used a lovely DP provided by Floppy Latte I printed it to theright sizefor my card blank and then added some glamour dust around the edge of the card blank and then around the white line on the paper.

My image is from Di's Digi's arn't these penguins cute,I've used promarkers to colour them and woodwares fluffy stuff on the furry edges of the hats. I have coloured the sky with blue chalks. I finished the card off with a sticker sentiment and some punched snowflakes.
This is going to be my last challenge as part of the DT at CRAFT I will miss be part of this great group of girls perhaps Jo will ask me back as GDT in the future.

New Home Card

I made this card for my FIL who has just moved into a new house. The papers are from Papermania It's A Man's World pack and the sentiment is a freebie for Netty's blog.

The image is from Di's Digi's and is coloured with promarkers, I've added some glossy accents to the top of the mushroom house, the window in the tree and the owls eyes. I have cut the image so that small parts of it overlap onto the navy mount.

Fathers Day Card for FIL

A quick card for Father's day I boo booed and thought I still had another week to make cards so had to rustle this one up a bit quick luckly I only need to make 2 this year as I already had some cards made up which I will be able to use. All I need to do now is get to the post office was going to go after I picked Aimee up from school but it was pouring with rain here so decided it could wait till tomorrow.

Nature challenge at Incy Wincy

 This week at Incy Wincy our challenge is Nature and we are sponsored by the fab Di's Digital Downloads who are offering a fab prize for our winner.

 I choose to using Gardening Ted for my card as he reminded me of my FIL whose birthday is next month sothis will make a perfect card for him. I have used promarkers to colour the image. The papers are from Basic Grey Pyrus collection. The sentiment is a papermania one which I have coloured with a promarker to match. the buttons are cut from a different sheet of the paper with my button ie which came as part of the doily set from Marianne Designs. I have tied a pice of string through them and then used foam pads to raise them off the page.

For my card I have used this cute little digi from Di's Digital Downloads, I have coloured him with promarkers and then cut him out. I made a frame using my nestie label dies, I then cut a piece of white card out which I have embossed with swiss dots folder. I then attached the frame and the image to the embossed card using foam pads to give lots of dimension. The papers are pink Petticoat digi ones and the flowers and ribbon are from my stash.
