Wedding White On White With Gold at Incy Wincy

Good morning time for a new challenge over at Incy Wincy this week we want to see Wedding cards using the colour scheme of White On White with Gold. We are sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs this week.
I kept my card quite simple this week using lots of die cuts and embossing folders. I die cut some hearts out of white and gold card and turned one into a groom in his suit jacket with a bow tie and the bride has a lovely embossed swirls dress with a pearl necklace. The background is embossed with a tiny hearts embossing folder from cuttlebug and I have run a piece of gold ribbon across the card and added a computer generated sentiment on the top of it.

Sketch time at Incy Wincy

Running a bit late as I was still trying to get all the teachers presents and cards finished up last night and I forgot to schedule this post. I had one card left to do tonight but Aimee has come home to stay that that teacher isn't in school now untill September so no rush to get it finished now lol.
This weeks challenge at Incy Wincy  is a sketch one the lovely Karen has drawn up this fabby sketch for us to use.
And we are sponsored by Digi Characters by Heather Ellis. I have used this cute image from her to make a thank you card for one of the teachers. I coloured the image with promarkers and gave her a little paper pieced cardigan. The papers are from MME Now & Then Mildred. Which I teamed with some Kraft card.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
A Gem of Challenge - Spots & Stripes
My Time To Craft - Paper Piecing
We Do Doobadoo - Spotty & Dotty
Robyn Fetish Challenge - Paper Piecing

Butterflies at Totally Gorjuss

Wow it's been a long week we have had stock take at work this week so I worked my day off to help get everything ready. As it's Saturday it's time for a new challenge over at Totally Gorjuss which this week is a nice easy one Butterflies. I have been busy making gifts for teachers this week and here is one I made for a friends little boy to give to his teacher. I was asked to incorporate butterflies into the present as that is what his class is called. I bought some plain black memo blocks from work in the sale recently for 50p each ( I think they thought I was mad at work as I bought 15 of the things lol but as a crafter I could see the potential of them!!). I started of by printing a verse onto some white card and then got my distress inks out to play on this one I have used Picked Raspberry and Peacock Feathers. The swirls are the Grunge Flourish stamp from Visible Image. The butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch which I embossed with the Divine Swirls folder in my cuttlebug and then inked.
Here's an angled photo so you can see the sides of the block as well sorry about the path I had a nightmare trying to take this photo's as the sun was really bright and all the others had terrible shadows on them.

I would like to enter my memo block into the following challenges:

Visible Image Challenge - Anything Goes
Bloggers Challenge - Quotes

Strings & Things At Incy Wincy

Good morning feels like a long time since I posted or crafted it's only been a week but feels much longer first of all I managed to whack my bad hand on the handle of the back door so couldn't do very much with it then on Tuesday morning I woke with a pain in my neck which got worse by the minute so off to the doctors I went and turns out my neck muscles had gone into spasm. Ouch didn't that hurt still aching now but I can at least keep my head upright and move without being in agony.
Onto the real reason I'm here today there is a new challenge over at Incy Wincy which this week is STRINGS & THINGS (ribbon, thread, string, fibre, etc.) and this week we are sponsored by the fantastic The Stamping Chef who very kindly gave the DT an image of their choice to work with I picked (Kn)OWL(edge) but only used half the image as I was having trouble colouring the whole thing.

I used my promarkers to colour him in and added glossy accents to his glasses. The paper is from MME Now & Then Mildred pad which I teamed with some Kraft card. I added some ribbon along the bottom of the card with a computer generated sentiment tag finished with a button and a twine bow. To fill the empty white space in the top right hand corner I added a couple of woodgrain enamel dots.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Make My Monday - End of Term
Crafting From The Heart - Anything Goes
Artistic Inspirations - Anything Goes
Divas by Design - Things With Wings
I Love Promarkers - Things With Wings
Chocolate Coffee & Cards - For The Birds
