Pink, Black & Skulls

It's Shannon's birthday on Saturday and as always seems to be the way these days I'm rushing to get everything done, and to top it all off I had no idea what to put on her cards so I've gone with an emo theme.
I've used this fab image Devilish Donna from Kenny K, I have coloured her with promarkers and used a little stickles on her wings. The papers are a fab set of emo papers but I csn't find the link to the website. I don't have any scalloped oval nesties so have used som paper lace coloured with a dark grey promarker to edge my oval.  The sentiment is from craftwork cards and the ribbon is from crafty ribbons.
I decided to turn this card into an easel card and finished the bottom off with an oval onto which I've stuck her age, can't believe my little girl is going to be 14 where does time go, and then just some clear gems alongthe edge.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Kenny K's Challenge - Sketch
Stamp, Scrap & Doodle - Easel Card
Totally Gorjuss - Black & one other colour

Spring Is In The Air at Incy Wincy

This week at Incy Wincy our theme is Spring Is In The Air, and perhaps it is on it's way as Aimee spotted the first daffodil in the garden yesterday. This week we are sponsored by the fab StampFairy who's images are so cute. Gerda the owner very kindly gave this image to the DT to use and the the fab prize on offer is 3 images of the winners choice from StampFairy.

I have coloured my image with promarkers adding some stickles to the wings. I have used some yellow cardstock for the base of my card and the cut a circle from some craft paper from Craftwork cards which has silver flowers all over it and then cut another circle from some yellow paper I found in my scrap drawer.
These flowers are white papermania ones coloured with a promarker and the on the middle one I have used a card candy again from craftwork cards and on the other 2 I have used a clear button with a bit of yellow twine through it. The stems and leaves are ribbon from Crafty Ribbons again I have coloured it with my promarkers. The butterfly is punched with an x-cut punch with a couple of glitter dots added.

I have kept my card fairly simple to show off the image which I have cut out with my nesties, the cardstock i have used is Coredination White wash which I have embossed with embossing folders in my cuttlebug and then gently sanded to show the colour through. I have added a piece of lace through which I have threaded some pink ribbon. A couple of tiny pink pearls to finsh and a sentiment which was printed on the computer and cut with nesties again.

The white background has been embosses on my cuttlebug and the green and orange card is from my stash, I''m really loving these lime greens at the moment and have another project to show you soon where I have used them again. A Tilda Card

My Mojo seems to have done a runner last night I went upstairs with the intention of cracking on with some DT projects that need to be done and just couldn't get into any of them so decided to try something different and dug this Tilda stamped image out of my drawer and started coloring , I have as usual used promarkers to colour her. I have followed the sketch it Friday Sketchers, the papers are from the Pink Petticoat stack that came free with a magazine this month, all the cardstock is coredinations, the edges have all been distressed. I have used my woodware border punch and my new Sew easy tool on this card which I have to say is very easy to use only problem was I didn't think about what I was doing with the corners so they didn't meet up properly, just adds to its charm don't you think lol. The charm, ribbon, pearls and flowers are all from my stash. Right I best go and have another stab at those DT projects otherwise I will be rushing around all week which won't be a good moveas the kids are on Half Term all week and hubby is working night shifts all week so I get the job of trying to keep them quite any one got some gags going spare!

The DT have used one of the new Tween images Vacuuming Tween. I have made a doorhanger for my eldest daughter. The papers are MME and are lovely and glittery. I have added silver peeloffs around the edges. The letters are cut from a sizzix die on my cuttlebug.
I have coloured the image with promarkers as usual and pop dotted her onto some co-ordinating papers  on which I've used my inverted corner punch and added a few tiny gems around the corners.
