Sympathy

Sadly one of my lovely blogging friends lost her son to cancer last week so I made a card for her I've kept it very simple. The stamp is from a Marion Emberson set and stamped in London Fog Memento ink. The sentiment is a digi one from Dee's Designs.

Lots of sparkles

Another order one this time for a princess card so lots of pink, glitter & bling. I used this gorgeous image from Saturated Canary coloured her with my promarkers & flexmarkers. I've added Glamour dust to her dress and ribbons and stuck tiny gem in her hair.

I struggled to get the sparkle to show in the photos so took one with the flash on and although it washed the colours out a bit you can see the sparkles.
The papers are all from First Edition and I have distressed the edges and then added stickles to them. The corner piece is from a memory box die and I've added some more gems to it. The name was die cut and again has been stickled before being mounted onto some pink ribbon from Crafty Ribbons.
I decorated the inside to match.

Football Card

A quick card that I made for Aimee to take to her friends football party. The papers are from an old Papermania pad
This cute image is from Bugaboo and coloured with promarkers. I added so glossy accents to the football.

A quick look at the inside of the card simply decorated with some more of the green paper and a strip of the football paper to break it up.

Mmm.... ATC's

Here's my interpretation of this months ATC challenge which was Mmm..... Thats

I've used some recipe pages from an old cake book as the background and inked around the edges to age them a bit more. the stamp is one I bought from Hobbycraft a bargin at £1. I stamped the image in black and then heat embossed it. I coloured the cakes with promarkers and added toppings using stickles, Aleene's glitter snow and some tiny gems. The pink tape along the bottom is masking tape which I have printed Pink Petticoat digi paper onto along with the writing.

S J Crafts September challenge

Time for a new challenge at S J Crafts and this month our challenge is

School/Learning + optional extra challenge - to use scallops!

I was flicking through a magazine and came across this idea for a letter rack, which I thought would be perfect for me as I am always misplacing school letters just when I need the information in them.

First up I went hunting in the cereal cupboard for an almost empty box then set about taking it apart and cutting the top off the front of the box.

I've used some old MME 12 x12 papers which have been sat in my stash for an age. I've added some punched edges done with a Fiskars border punch for the added extra of scallops. The scrabble tile alpha was a free download which I printed out and heat embossed by rubbing a versamark pad over each tile and covering them with clear embossing powder.

On one side I have attached a loop with a brad to hold a pen.

And on the other side a bulldog clip again held in place with a brad to hold envelopes for money for milk/ gymnastic club etc.
Inside the box is an A5 pad for writing note for the teacher decorated in some more MME paper, punched edges and a pretty die cut flower.

The papers are so old MME ones which I edged with green distress ink. The flower is made from 4 scallopped circles which have been scrunched up and inked.

I have coloured the image with my promarkers and the snow is Arlenes Glitter Snow, I've added some stickles to the edges to give the bookmark a bit of Christmas sparkle.

All About The Boys at Creative Craft Challenge

It's time for a new challenge at Creative Craft Challenge and this time our challenge is
All About The Boys
and we are sponsored by
I decided to make a tag for this challenge using one of our sponsors images. It's a fairly basic tag but I'm please with how it has turned out. I started with a layer of dark brown card and matted some checked paper which I have distressed with brushed corduroy.  I'ved added a few tiny brads to fill up what seemed to be a very empty tag.

The cute little cowboy has been coloured with my promarkers and I've paper pieced his neck tie. He is mounted onto a piece of leather which I cut into a star shap with my x cut dies.

A quick little sentiment done very simply with a wild west font printed onto Kraft and then distressed with ink.
I've decided it's time to move on so this will be my last challenge at Creative Craft, Sandra is holding a DT call so if fancy working wit a great group of ladies head over to the challenge blog to see what it's all about.
I would like to enter this tag into the following challenges:

Back to School at Incy Wincy

This weeks challenge at Incy Wincy is
Back To School
and we are sponsored by
I was bit stumped for this challenge but in the end decided to make a little treat pouch to go in Aimee's lunch box when she goes back to school on Thursday I've popped a small bag of party rings inside. These are so easy to make you just need a rectangle of paper/card stick it together to make a tube and then seal the ends so you end up with a triangle shape. ( Like Jubbly ice lollies)
A side ways view so you can see the shape a bit better. The paper is from an old 12x 12 DCWV pad that has been lurking in my stash for to long.
Heres the little topper I made the image is from our sponsor and the sentiment is one I put together on the computer. I have coloured and layed 3 of the image to give it some depth, he is coloured with promarkers and I have used glossy accents on his glasses. Iv'e inked the edges with Wild Honey distress ink to tie it in as the white looked to stark

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Critter Sketch- Back to school
Love To Create - Back to school
The Doodle Garden - School days
Just Some Lines - Back to school
