Just Charming at Creative Craft Challenge

 This weeks challenge at Creative Craft Challenge is Just Charming and we have 2 great sponsors for you Little Claires & Stitchy Bear Stamps.

I have used this cute digi from Little Claires, Star of Wonder, I have coloured them with promarkers and used my snow writer to create the snow.
 I've used my nesties to cut a hole in the top corner of my card where I have hung a snowflake charm.
 I've used my woodware snowflake punchh to create the border and stuck a clear gem into the centre of each snowflake.
We are also running a DT call for the length of this challenge as we have lost some of our amazing girls. All you have to do to apply is email us at creativecraftchallenges@live .co.uk with 3-5 pieces of your best work,
a little info about yourself, what  other if any dts you are already on and of course be able to commit to us for a 6 month term.

I must apologise for being a bad blogger this last week I haven't been able to comment on any of your lovely blogs or keep up with all my DT commitments as I have had some family things to deal with.

Anything but a card at Incy Wincy


 This weeks challenge at Incy Wincy is Anything but a card and we are sponsored by the fantastic Meljens and they are offering our winner 4 images of their choice.

I have used this cute goth girl from them for my notebook. I have printed her onto some pale grey card and coloured her with promarkers. I've added a little bit of sparkle with some stickles to the swirls and some bling in the form of purple gems.
I have finished it off with some fab purple spotty ribbon from Crafty Ribbons and a purple star button that I took off one of DD old tops.

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge 116 - Resist Technique

This weeks challenge at C.R.A.F.T. Challenge is to use the Resist Technique now if you were like me and didn't know what this technique was there is a fab tutorial here.

I kept my card very simple this week and have used butterfly die to cut 2 butterflies out of some Basic Grey paper to create the main focus of my card I have embellished the butterfly with some clear gems.
For the resist technique I have stamped a swirl stamp with clear ink and then heat embossed it with clear powder. I've then inked over it with pink distress ink and added a few gems to the swirls.

Anything but a Card at Creative Craft Challenge

For my project I have made a post it note holder I followed the instructions from this blog and just changed the dimensions to fit my post it note pad.
 On the front of the post it note holder I have used is Jiggy's Book coloured with promarkers. The DP is some I got from SJ Crafts open day last month. I made a matching pen to go with the post it note pad, I bought these pens as presents for christmas last year and then lost them! They are meant for photos but I have inserted another dragon digi which I think was a freebie at sometime.

Recipe time at Incy Wincy

 This weeks challenge at Incy Wincy is a  Recipe 1,2,3 - (3 embellies, 2 papers, 1 image).

This week I decided to make a nestie box these are so simple to make you can find the instructions here
I have used this gorgeous fairy from Digi Doodle Shop which you can find here. I have coloured her with promarkers and cut here out and used foam pads to mount her on the lid of the box. The papers are some more from my grab box form SJ Crafts.

Around the box I have wraped a piece of the aqua paper and then embellished it with some paper lace which has been coloured with a promarker to match and some gold ribbon from Crafty Ribbons

What A Cutie

 I've finely got round to inking this little cutie up that I bought a while ago from Tam's, it is of course a Lili of the Valley stamp called Maisie Two Balloons. She is coloured with promarkers and chalks and I've given the balloons a coat of glossy accents.
The card blank, which I believe is from Craftwork Cards, was part of my prize from Karen. The DPs are MME Lime Twist. I've added some ribbon which I've coloured to match and a couple of clear dew drops to the top left corner. The sentiment is a Forever Friends one.

Christmas Teddy


 Another christmas card and it's only August. I colored this cute teddy from Lili of the Valley with promarkers and coloured pencils, I'm really pleased with my colouring on this image. I 've added glamour dust to the white bits on his hat.
I followed the sketch at Paper Sundaes, think the paper is MME, I've used my woodware snowflake border for the lines going across the sketch, another woodware punch for the snowflake in the top left corner and the sentiment is also Lili of the Valley.

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge 115 - Gifts

 This weeks challenge at C.R.A.F.T. is gifts. and we have some great prizes for you this week first up is
Prize for first winner 4 images and 1 paperpack or 5 images.


& second up is 
Prize for second winner a seat to any of their upcoming (virtual) classes.


For my project I have decorated a little jar which I have filled with mints. I have used this cute image from Robyn Fetish Designs that I one a while ago it's called Paul Penguins Sleighing, I have coloured him with promarkers and added some crystal stickles to him. I've cut the circles with my nesties and added some more stickles to the edges.

 This photo shows the tag which was a die cut that come with the paper pack, I've stamped on it with a sentiment from Lili of the Valley. More stickles around the edge of the tag and a couple of small snowflakes cut from silver glitter card.
 And the top of the jar again I've used my nesties to cutt the scalloped circle and then the silver snowflake is cut with my sizzix die, the white one with a woodware punch and the smaller silver one is a small punch.

Something Old Something New

 This weeks challenge at Incy Wincy is something old something new. This week we are sponsored by Digital Delights.

 I have used Christmas Pippin the Mouse on my card which I won this time last year but never got round to using last year. As usual I have coloured him with promarkers using a sakura pen on the snowflakes on the bag to make them sparkle and some white flock on the white bits of his hat. The papers are my old element they are from a DCWV stack and the snowflakes are my new element the larger ones are cut with my new snowflake punch that arrived this week.
