I have used this fab image from Doodle Dragon called Under Bear I've coloured him with my promarkers and added some glossy accents to his nose and his heart. The papers are some Prima ones which the lovely Sarah sent me for my birthday. I've used my fiskers border punch to cut the edges at the bottom of the card. For my recycle element I've used some dark brown ribbon which was wrapped around some P.J's at Christmas.

First off today I want to say sorry for the lack of comments I'm leaving at the moment I am looking at all your fab makes but I'm suffering big time with my hand at the moment and typing really hurts. Hopefully it will sort it's self out again soon, of course it;s not helped by the fact that my splint has snapped and I can't get an appoinment until the end of next month to have a new one made, so I'm sitting here with my finger taped to a lolly stick to keep it straight good job it's been ice lolly weather!

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge 155 Easel Card

Good morning I hope you all enjoyed our blog hop last week it's time for a new challenge at C.R.A.F.T. Challenge and this week our challenge is Easel Cards we have serveral fab sponsors for you this week - The Stamping Boutique - Crimson Cloud - Bugaboo.

I have used this fun image from Bugaboo called Birthday Monster Cake I printed him several times so I could layer the image which I coloured with Promarkers and adde glossy accents to the icing, his eyes and the balloon . I've stuck tiny clear star shaped buttons around the image.

The paper are from MME Lime Twist Out of the Blue pad

I downloaded this fab font to write the name of Aimee's friend in adding a white spot with agel pen to each of the eyes and then I used glossy accents to make them pop.

A sideways view as I can never seem to get a decent photo of easel cards think you can see the layers better in this picture.

GDT at C.R.A.F.T. Challenge

I've been asked to be GDT for May over at CRAFT Challenge and so today being the forst thursday of the month is my first challenge to join in with and I'm ashamed to say I forgot all about it, my only excuse is that I had lots of things go wrong at the end of last week and I still don't feel as if I've caught up with myself yet.

Time for a new challenge at CRAFT this week we have this fantastic Inspiration Picture for you which was provided by Kevin (previous DT member).

I have used the colours from the picture as my insiration for my card this week. I have used a lovely DP provided by Floppy Latte I printed it to theright sizefor my card blank and then added some glamour dust around the edge of the card blank and then around the white line on the paper.

My image is from Di's Digi's arn't these penguins cute,I've used promarkers to colour them and woodwares fluffy stuff on the furry edges of the hats. I have coloured the sky with blue chalks. I finished the card off with a sticker sentiment and some punched snowflakes.
This is going to be my last challenge as part of the DT at CRAFT I will miss be part of this great group of girls perhaps Jo will ask me back as GDT in the future.

CRAFT Challenge 121 - Using Parchment

Can you believe another week has gone by and it's time for a new challenge at CRAFT challenge this week is a hard one (well I thought so) to use parchment on your project.

 Well this challenge certainly got me thinking as it was not something I ever really had a go at so I did so research and omg that made it worse there are some beautiful parchment cards out there they are real works of art. I decided to keep it simple as I didn't have any of the tools for parchment craft I have used a embossing tool and a ruler to create the lines and then used the embossing tool to create the dots. I've used some brads to attach the parchment to the card and tied a spotty blue ribbon around. The image is a Penny Black sticker which I have had for an age and never used.

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge 116 - Resist Technique

This weeks challenge at C.R.A.F.T. Challenge is to use the Resist Technique now if you were like me and didn't know what this technique was there is a fab tutorial here.

I kept my card very simple this week and have used butterfly die to cut 2 butterflies out of some Basic Grey paper to create the main focus of my card I have embellished the butterfly with some clear gems.
For the resist technique I have stamped a swirl stamp with clear ink and then heat embossed it with clear powder. I've then inked over it with pink distress ink and added a few gems to the swirls.

For my project I have decorated a little jar which I have filled with mints. I have used this cute image from Robyn Fetish Designs that I one a while ago it's called Paul Penguins Sleighing, I have coloured him with promarkers and added some crystal stickles to him. I've cut the circles with my nesties and added some more stickles to the edges.


 This photo shows the tag which was a die cut that come with the paper pack, I've stamped on it with a sentiment from Lili of the Valley. More stickles around the edge of the tag and a couple of small snowflakes cut from silver glitter card.

 And the top of the jar again I've used my nesties to cutt the scalloped circle and then the silver snowflake is cut with my sizzix die, the white one with a woodware punch and the smaller silver one is a small punch.
