Christmas Tilda

Another christmas card from me I'm really enjoying making them at the moment which is all good as I had a mad rush to get them finished last year at the last minute.
This time I have used Tilda with vintage roses she is coloured in promarkers, with the gold bit coloured with a sakura gold pen. I have stitched around the edge of the image with some red thread mixed with a strand of shimmer thread.
The papers are a free download from Bearly Mine Designs I have gone round the edge with the sewing machine to pierce the holes and then used a gold gel pen to do some faux stitching. The poinsettia has had its edges glittered. The ribbon is from my stash and has been threaded through the sentiment which was cut with my nesties. The sentiment is a stamp from Lili of the Valley.
I would like to enter this in the following challenges:
Totally Tilda - Stitching
Just Magnolia - Sketch
The Corrosive Challenge - Faux techniques ( stitching)

Hi Jenny - I'm in love with your card! It's brilliant to use the sewing machine to make holes then color in the stitching. Metallic thread always breaks - what a great solution. Oh, and I lovelovelove the double thread effect around Tilda!

Thanks so much for joining our Beary Sweet "In Stitches" challenge - good luck!

Cheers,
Susan
