Whilst blog hopping I saw the new challenge at Die Cut Dreams was to do a Tilda card in blue, now this is not a colour I would usually use on Tilda so I thought I would give it a go and tie it in with a few other challenges, vintage and paper piecing.

I have coloured Tilda with promarkers and then paper pieced her dress and shoes. I have added some picket fence distress stickles to her tiara. She is mounted onto some grey bazill which has been cut with nesties, and then I have given the oval a lacy border by sticking some paper lace around the edge. I have used weathered wood distress ink on the edges of the lace.
The papers are all from MME Wild Asparagus pad, I have used sandpaper on all the edges to slightly distress them. I have used some blue organza ribbon from my stash and a silver flower charm which came from a stash swap. The ticket sentiment is a free one I downloaded from
here and printed on cream card.

The flowers have been punched out of the same paper as her dress with a woodware punch I have then crumpled them and added a small pearl to the centre. I've added a cream pearl pin and sore silver swirly things to finish it off.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
