Colour Challenge at Incy Wincy

Good morning the new challenge over at Incy Wincy this week is a colour challenge

we have two fantastic sponsors for you this week Limited Runs and Kenny K. I used images from both, today I'm going to show you  one from Limited Runs and tomorrow I will post the card using an image from Kenny K.

Today's image is called Coffee 2 I coloured the foam and coffee beans on the top with pro markers adding glossy accents to the coffee beans. The rest of the image is paper pieced using Kraft Card and spotty paper from Pink Petticoat. Before I printed the image out I added the sentiment to it in Word.

I used a Martha Stewart punch to make the lacy border and added a piece of twill ribbon along the middle of it. The four enamel dots have been coloured with my pens to match the card.

I have used this lovely Hello digi from Limited Runs coloured with my promarkers. I layered the flowers and the butterfly to give the card some dimension. I used the first coloum of the tic tac toe board Yellow / Gems/ Wings for my card.

A very quick post to tell you about the new challenge at Incy Wincy this morning our theme this week is Halloween and we have two fab sponsors for you Limited Runs and The Stamping Chef. I have made a treat bag using one of Nikki at Limited Runs designs this one is called Monster Sign I have used my promarkers to colour it and added a little glossy accents to the spider and the finger nails.

I have used this pretty birdhouse image from Limited Runs coloured it with my promarkers and inked around the edge with Milled Lavender Distress Ink. My papers are all from Papermania Vintage Notes pad. I distresses all the edges and then inked them with distress ink. I added a few paper roses and some sticky pearls to finish it off.

Here's the Tic Tac toe board for this weeks challenge I have used the bottom row for my card

I have used this fab Eyeball cupcake from Limited Runs for my card. The image is coloured in promarkers and then I have added Glossy accents to the slime. The paper is from an old Basic Grey pad and has been distressed and inked. The sentimented is printed and I have coloured the paper to match.

Recipe time at Incy Wincy

 

Good morning it's time for another challenge over at Incy Wincy and this time we have a recipe for you.

Recipe - 4 different papers, 3 brads, 2 ribbons and 1 image.

and we have two fantastic sponsors this week first up is my lovely teamie Nikki with her digtal stamp company Limited Runs and also Fantastic Ribbons .

I apologise for the state of my photos but I was running late with my card this week and the weather was horrible outside so there was no natrual light to take the photos in. I have used another offcut of card to make this cute little card, the papers are from Dovecraft Back to Basics pad, and I have paper pierced the image to get my other 3 papers in for the recipe. I've added a double layer of ribbon along the card secured with 3 brads and a little happy birthday tag from Craftwork cards.

Halloween card

Mark took my box of cards into work a few days ago and one of the ladies saw the halloween cards I had made last year( and probably the year before to) and wanted to buy them plus another one so here's the new one that I made. I've used this cute little witch from Stamp Fairy and papers from Bearly Mine and the sentiment is from my teamie at Incy Wincy the lovely Nikki who runs Limited Runs.

Our challenge this week is to create something using the sketch that Samantha came up with 

I have used this fab Shark cupcake which the lovely Nikki drew especially for my son's birthday, I have coloured him with promarkers & flemarkers. I have - de coupaged him as you can see in the picture below and added some glossy accents to the bubbles and the eyes.

The papers are Echo Park A Boys Life, I 've used my Marth Stewart zig zag punch to create the border added a button to follow the sketch and then added a stamped sentiment to the bottom right corner and a digi stamp to the top left .

Anything Goes at Incy Wincy

This weeks challenge at Incy Wincy is a nice easy one to start the new year off Anything Goes and we are sponsored by our very own Nikki with her digi stamp company

I have used this fab image called Sally Stitches, she is coloured with promarkers and I added a tiny bit of glossy accents to the skull on the cake. The purple paper is one I downloaded a while ago as a freebie I have highlighted the word love with glossy accents. The black is a scrap of basic grey from my scraps drawer. I've added a couple of black dewdrops around the oval, all the edges have been distressed with my distressing tool.

I wanted to add something to the corner but didn't have a black metal corner so I have used a copper coloured one sanded down with some sandpaper and then heat embossed it with black glittery embossing powder, I'm really pleased with the way this came out. i added a quick flower to the card I cut two circles one from black and one from purple distressed the edges and then scrunched them up and added a black gem brad to the centre.

 I've used this cute digi from her store called Little Tree, coloured with promarkers, I've added some white flock to the furry bits on her cuffs and hat and I used Woodwares fluffy stuff for the snow. The papers are ones from my Christmas box and the sentiment I stamped onto a diecut snowflake. The ribbon is from Sarah at SJ Crafts.

Incy Wincy Think Pink

This weeks challenge at Incy Wincy is Think Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, our fantastic sponsor this week is our very own lovely Nikki with her digi stamp company Limited Runs.

I've keep my card quite simple and used some pink spotty paper from Pink Petticoat, the image has been coloured with promarkers and then covered in glossy accents and mounted on some white cardstock that has been embossed with the swiss dots folder. I've added some pink ribbon along the bottom edge and twisted a piece into the ribbon shape that Breast Cancer Awareness use and fastened it together with a heart brad.

 I've used this cute owl from Limited Runs for my card he's from the Whootie Owl set. I have paper pierced him. I've used a freebie digital stamp for the branch it sorry I didn't log where it came from. I have used my woodware punch to create my flowers and added a green pearl to the centre of each. The sentiment is a stamp that came free with a magazine. The papers are all MME Wild Aspargus which I have had for ages and never used.

I choose to make a get well card for a friend who unfortunatly had a stroke, now I know a rooster is a funny choice for a get well card but there is a reason for it. This particular friend keeps chickens in his backgarden and often brings Aimee fresh eggs to eat.
