Get Well Soon

Good morning today I have a get well soon card to show you this was for an order for my friend at work whose nephew had to go into hospital for an operation. Being a typical teenage boy he loves playing on his X box so this image from Mo's Digital Pencil was perfect for him. I coloured the image with my promarkers, I even gave the boy in the image the same colour hair as my friends nephew.

The papers are from an old Papermania pad I think it was one of the first pads I bought I used nearly all the pad now as I really like the blue and orange for boys/ male cards. The tickets were some free ones which open as a word document so I was able to alter the text to suit my card. I printed them onto some DP and attached them together with an eyelet.  I distressed all the edges with my Tim Holtz distress tool.

I die cut some stars and the 3d them buy drawing lines from the centre to the points with an embossing ball tool. The arrows were cut free hand from some cardstock.

A quick picture of the inside of the card.

Simple Teenage Boys Card

This card is another one I made for Rhys's birthday at the beginning of Febuary nice and simple this one. I fould this sunburst digital paper on Etsy in his favourite colour Orange teamed it with some grey spotty paper that came in the same pack. For the topper I printed some more of the spotty paper and added a 15 to it in a grungy font and cut it out with my nesties. I have edged all the papers with black soot distress ink and added some black pearls to the corners.

Roses

I'm still catching up with some cards that I never got round to blogging and  so this card was made a while ago. I have used papers from a free pink petticoat pad that came with a magazine, layering them with a paper doily and some embossed pink card.

The image is from delicious doodles and I have printed her twice so I could layer the flowers. I coloured her with my promarkers.

Not often that I take a photo from off to the side but I did for this card as it shows the layers on the flowers and also you can see that decorated the inside of the card to.

Happy Birthday Gon Gon

Morning as promised yesterday I'm back with my second card for yesterdays Incy Wincy challenge. Today I've used another image from our sponsor Scribbles Designs this one is called Brr Birthday Chef. I been trying to use up so bits and pieces from old paper pads so I think these papers are from an old Echo Park pad I've mounted them all onto black card and used my corner chomper to round the edges off. Behind the image I've embosses a piece of grey card with a stars embossing folder. I've coloured the image with my promarkers I added some glossy accents to the icing on the cake and glittered the flames on the candles. In case your wondering this card was for my kids to give to my dad for his birthday as they call him Gon Gon due to the fact that my eldest couldn't say Grandad when she was little and it has stuck even at 17  she calls him Gon Gon.

New Beginning ATC's

This months ATC swaps theme was New Beginnings, first of all I was going to go with new baby or new home but then I wondered if I could find some quotes to do with new beginnings so after a quick google search I found a few that I like and settled on these 3. I have printed them onto some digital papers from Summertime Designs. I have inked the edge of each one with a matching distress ink and then stamped some swirls and heat embossed them with clear powder.

Photo Inspiration time at Incy Wincy

Good morning it's Monday again and which means it's time for a new challenge at Incy Wincy. This week our challenge is a photo inspiration one and we are sponsored by one of my favourites Delicious Doodles. Here's the photo to take inspiration from, I've used the colours as my inspiration

I used this harbour scene from our sponsor and coloured it with my promarkers, the papers are from Fancy Pants swagger pad. I distressed all the edges with my Tim Holtz tool and added a couple of brass eyelets and some twine as embellisments. The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards and yes it is a bit wonky, it was like that when I bought it and I kept it as I thought I might be able to use it one day somehow, well the day finally came lol I thought it looked a bit like a piece of drift wood coloured in?

I layered the white card onto a piece of striped paper. I printed the image onto the same striped paper so I could paper piece the balloon .

Thinking of You

A quick card for you this morning using a fab image from Delicious Doodles, I love Terri's sketchy images especially for male cards she has so many perfect ones. I've added just a touch of colour to the image with my promarkers and matted and layered it on to some kraft card and  chevron papers. I've edged the kraft card with distress ink to give it some depth.I've cut the banner by hand and stamped the sentiment onto it and added a couple of buttons to the top corner.
