Totally Gorjuss - Lace and or Pearls

It's time for a new challenge over at Totally Gorjuss. This week are challenge is to use Lace and or Pearls and we are sponsored by The Hobby House.

For my card this week I have uses this Saturated Canary image coloured with my promarkers. I added sparkle to her dress with diamond stickles and dotted pearls in her hair with a Pinflair pearl wand. The papers are from an old Papermania pad that has sat buried at the back of my drawer for ages. I teamed it with some navy card. The flouirish in the corner is from a Memory box die and again I added pearls to in with the pearl wand and the flower is another memory box die with an adhesive pearl in the centre of it. The little butterflys are punched from the DP with a woodware punch.

Long time no post!

Gosh I can't believe it's 2 months since I posted on here if there anybody still out there hello and thanks for waiting for me, life has been a bit hetic here and all though I have still been making a few things I just don't seem to have got around to blogging them. Anyway the reason for todays post ( which should have been posted Monday! whoops) is that this weeks challenge over at Incy Wincy is One Layer Cards and we are sponsored by Saturated Canary. I have used this gorgeous stamp called lovely she is coloured with my promarkers and I added some stickles to some of the layers of her dress.  The sentiment is from Whimsey Stamps and I have inked around the edge of the card with tattered rose distress ink.

I have used this gorgeous digi from Saturated Canary to make my card this week colouring her with promarkers. The paper is from MME  Lost & Found 3 Oliver pad which I have teamed with Kraft card. I have again used my spellbinders border dies told you theses were going to be a regular feature on my cards. I've added a punched butterfly and some organza ribbon to fit in with our theme. The flowers are all from my stash and I added some frosted lace stickles to some of them for a little sparkle.

Pastel Colours at Incy Wincy

I think Mr Mojo may be on his way back I enjoyed making this card and have managed to make another over the weekend without to much stress.

My image is from our sponsor and is called Bubbles I have coloured her with my promarkers. My papers were some bargin ones which I got from work for a 1p they are Dovecraft Back to Basics ones.  I have distressed and inked the edges with Milled Lavender distress ink. The ribbon is from the same dovecraft range and does match the pale pink of the papers in real life and again was a 1p bargin. I've dug out my paper flowers and inked the edges of them to match, adding pearls to the smaller ones and an organsa flower to the middle of the larger one with a pearl flower centre. I added some stardust stickles to her bubbles, wand and the spot on her dress.

I've used this great zombie stamp which will be ideal for my daughters birthday, i've coloured her with my promarkers. The papers are from Fancy Pants time for spring I have distressed the edges and inked them with black distress ink. My sentiment was printed on the computer.

I made the flower from an empty coke can which I die cut with my tattered flowers die and then embossed with the divine swirls folders. I've coloured the metal with some ebony ruff & buff.

I gone for a pink card making it perfect for my little girl ( she love all things pink & sparkly) the papers are from my christmas stash so not sure which brand they are. Giving Thanks at Incy Wincy

 I have of course used a gorgeous image from our sponso this one is called Cerridwen isn't she beautiful,I have coloured her with my promarkers adding a touch of sparkle to the butterflies with some stickles. My Dp is from a MME pad, Lost & Found 2 Breeze. I've added some flowers from my stash and a litlle bronze butterfly charm which I attached to an eye pin and attached it to the card with an eyelet.

Quick glance at the inside of the card where I've sed more of the DP and a Memory box die cut.

Another order one this time for a princess card so lots of pink, glitter & bling. I used this gorgeous image from Saturated Canary coloured her with my promarkers & flexmarkers. I've added Glamour dust to her dress and ribbons and stuck tiny gem in her hair.

I struggled to get the sparkle to show in the photos so took one with the flash on and although it washed the colours out a bit you can see the sparkles.

 The papers are all from First Edition and I have distressed the edges and then added stickles to them. The corner piece is from a memory box die and I've added some more gems to it. The name was die cut and again has been stickled before being mounted onto some pink ribbon from Crafty Ribbons.

I decorated the inside to match.

Incy Wincy - Patriotism

Good morning long time no see my hand is starting to feel better now I have a splint for my finger again although I've now been told I've got Carpel tunnel in my wrist too. Onto this weeks challenge at Incy Wincy which is Patriotism - Use ONLY colours or items from your country and we are sponsored by the fab Saturated Canary.

I choose this fab image which is called Jenny ( how could I resist!) and of course have used red, white & blue as my colours as I live in the United Kingdom. The image is coloured with promarkers and I won't tell you how many times I coloured the hair I just couldn't get it right. Can't remeber where the red paper is from the blue is from a dovecraft pack . The ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons the red bit was Aqua so I coloured it red to match the theme with my pens and the corner is cut with a memory box die.

My First Saturated Canary card

 Oh my I've been admiring the fantastic digi's from Saturated Canary that are appearing all over blog land and have finally taken the plunge and coloured in this lovely which was given away as a freebie last week.

 I have coloured her with promarkers and flexmarkers, boy did that take some time to get it right but worth it in the end, not the best colouring in the world but I'm happy with it. I have inked around her with Tattered Rose distress ink and the stamp around the edge with a swirly stamp in the same colour.

The papers are all from MME Blush pad which I teamed with a piece of Kraft cards. I have inked all the edges with distress ink to pull it all together. The pink ribbon was coloured with my ink pad and the aqua with my promarkers. I made the flower by cutting 4 scalloped circles from some DP, pinning them together with a pearl brad and scrunching them up around the brad and the flattening it out. Lastly some aqua pearls and a sentiment which again has been coloured with distress ink.

Promarkers used:

Flesh:ivory , blush, saffron

Hair: tea rose (flex), putty, sunkissed pink, pastel pink

Clothes: tea green, grey green, pastel green, aquamarine (flex)

Bird: cool aqua, duck egg

Other: cool grey 1
