I've been admiring all the pop up box cards that have been appearing on blogs lately and though I would have a go at one for my step Mum's birthday which is today. I search for a tutorial most of the ones I found called for 12 x12 card which i don't have much of but I found this one which uses A4 card.
The papers are Dovecraft Back to Basics 3, I inked all the edges with distress ink. The flowers are cut from the same paper with Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die, the butterflys are a Martha Stewart punch which I have then run through the cuttlebug with divine swirls embossing folder and the green swirls are an old sizzix die. The sentiment is from Pink Petticoat which I printed and cut with my nesties.
If you haven't tried making one of these yet give it a go I was surprised at how quick they were I managed to make two in one evening normally I'm lucky to finish one card in an evening as I dither around so much.

oooh this is very petty. Looks fiddly though.. but maybe not too much if you made two in an evening! x x
It's gorgeous! I've been making these as well and found a no measure one made from A4 card. Looking forward to seeing your other one. xxx
