Christmas Tilda

Another christmas card from me I'm really enjoying making them at the moment which is all good as I had a mad rush to get them finished last year at the last minute.
This time I have used Tilda with vintage roses she is coloured in promarkers, with the gold bit coloured with a sakura gold pen. I have stitched around the edge of the image with some red thread mixed with a strand of shimmer thread.
The papers are a free download from Bearly Mine Designs I have gone round the edge with the sewing machine to pierce the holes and then used a gold gel pen to do some faux stitching. The poinsettia has had its edges glittered. The ribbon is from my stash and has been threaded through the sentiment which was cut with my nesties. The sentiment is a stamp from Lili of the Valley.

Stampin with the Dragon challenge 7 - Yellow, Blue & Green

So sorry I'm late with this post everything went pear shaped yesterday and I spent the afternoon in the hospital with DH trying to find out why he collapsed again, seems that is all to do with the cough that he can't seem to shift. Anyway back to why I here this is my card for this fortnights challenge at Stampin with the Dragon, our challenge this time is to use the colours Yellow, Blue & Green. We are sponsered by Whimsey Stamps and the DT were lucky enought to be given some of their images to play with. I choose this fab image called Hang In There

I have coloured him with promarkers and mounted him onto the card with foam squares. I think the papers are basic grey sorry can't remember which range. All the edges have been inked with distress inks and the sentiment was stamped in the same distress ink.

Side stepper card

This is the first time I have had a go at making a side stepper card but after seeing Debbie's fab card on her blog here I thought I would give it a go.
I cut the card base from bazill bling card, the paper is from DCWV spring stack. The flowers are Prima E-line ones that have been coloured. The buttons came from the Range and have been sat in my stash for ages I thought the holes looked a bit odd so have put a little 3d gloss in them and then put a tiny purple gem in.
The image is a freebie from Cuddly Buddly that I downloaded ages ago, I have coloured it with promarkers adding some gloss to the balloons and stickles and gems to the flowers, and stickles to their ears.
The sentiment is printed on the computer and cut with my nesties. This is the view of the card from the side so yyou can see all the folds.

Moving Along With The Times Challenge 57

I followed the sketch and theme at Moving Along With The Times for this card. The image is a Greetings Farm Miss Anya, which has of course been coloured with promarkers. The purple ovalhas been embosses with swiss dots folder. The sentiment is a stamp from a Daisy & Dandilion set. The flowers are punched with a woodware punch and have either a silver or purple pearl. The DP is Dovecraft back to Basics paper.

The Sweet Stop Sketch

I bought some of the new unmounted House Mouse stamps from Donna's Den and this is one of them isn't it sweet. For this card I have followed the sketch at The Sweet Stop for this card.
I have coloured the image with promarkers and cut it out with my nestie labels mounting it onto some gold card, where I have added some pink gems. The pink border across the card has been embossed with my daisy folder and sanded to allow the white core to show through, I have added some gold to the bottom which has been punched with a woodware border punch and some organza ribbon which was coloured to match with my promarkers. The DP is Papermania sorry I can't remember what the pack is called as its one of the first ones I bought. The sentiment has been printed on the computer, 3 tiny gems added and the edges have been chalked in pink and then I have mounted it on a flower.

Creative Craft World - Sue's Challenge

This time at Creative Craft World it is Sue's turn to host the challenge and she gave us this fab sketch to work with.

You can use it to make a card, scrapbook page, pretty much anything as long as we can see the sketch in your project.
For my card  have used papers from Secret Garden by papermania which have been sat in my drawer for who knows how long and never used. The images are a set of Basic Grey stamps that again I have never used but had forever. I have stamped them onto textured card and the coloured them with promarkers.  have added some faux stitching around the edge with a black gel pen and a couple of green gems. The squares have been cut with the postage stamp die that comes free with the cuttlebug. I have added some swirls to the sides of the card with a piercing die and then put sparkly gold pen into each dot you can't really see it in the photo.

I have added some Prima flowers and some green organza ribbon to the edge to finish it off.

Don't forget to stop by and see the other DT's fab makes. Hope you will join us in this challenge.
