Distressed Birthday

Here's a card I made for my lovely blogging friend Debbie who's birthday is today. I have used a Fizzy Moon stamp colored with Promarkers & Flexmarkers. I added some sparkle to the flowers with distress stickles. The paper is more form the gorgeous Paris pad from MME I have distressed the edges of all the paper with my distressing tool and then gone round all the edges with distress stickles. I have used a bronzey gold colored metal corner and some card candy to embellish the card and the sentiment is a papermania one.

Distress / Vintage at Creative Craft Challenge

This week at Creative Craft Challenge we want to see you distressed vintage projects. We have some fab sponsors for you this time round take a look.

For my card I have used this cute little girl from Lilli of the Valley who I have coloured with promarkers, I've also coloured the background with a promarker to give it an aged appearence. The Dp is Basic Grey Nook & Pantry all the edges have been distress and inked with distress ink, I have used my woodware heart border puch on the blue coloured paper but it doesn't show up very well in the photo. The flowers are from my stash and the cherry blossom has been coloured to match. The brown seam binding which I won from The Ribbon Girl has been inked with distress ink and then I have put a gem brad from dovecraft through the middle of the bow. The sentiment has been coloured with a promarker and inked around the edges.

Our challenge this week at Digi's With Attitude! is Make it Puffy, show us how you make something look puffy on your project, now this challenge certainly got the DT thinking so I'm sure we will all be interested in seeing what you come up with.
We have a new sponsor this week Stamping Dragon Designs who have recently opened a new store you can checkout their fab range of digital papers here. They are offering the winner a $10 coupon to their store. They very kindly gave the DT 2 packs of their paper to work with I have used their Coffee & Cream pack on my card.I have distressed all the edges and inked them with distress ink. The circle has been embossed with my cuttlebug, the ric rak is from crafty ribons and has been coloured with promarkers to match. The sentiment is a freebie stamp that came with a magazine and is stamped in distress ink. The flowers are from my stash and have been finished with a brown button and a piece of twine.
I have used one of this months new release Tweens, Camping Tween who I have coloured with promarkers and for the puffy part of my card I have used Woodware Fluffy Stuff on the marshmallow, if you haven't used this product it is fab, it comes is a bottle like stickles and you squeeze it onto your design and then heat it with a heat gun and it puffs up. I've tried to take a photo below to show you how it is raised off the card.

Old Car

Here's a card that I made for an order, I was asked for a card with an old car on. Straight away I thought of this fab digi stamp, Dodge Tourer 1914, from Stamping Dragon Designs which you can get here. I have coloured the car with promarkers and then added a coat of 3d gloss to make the paint work all shiny.

The papers are a free digi download from Digital Diva Designs I have distressed them and then inked them with weathered wood ink. The letters were cut on my cuttlebug out of some of the paper.
