January's ATC Swap

The ATC swap that I joined in with last year has started up again and January's theme was Anything Goes. I chose to use the sentiments from Pink Petticoat and teamed them with a punched butterfly.

I inked all the edges with distress inks and added some gold stickles applied with a brush to the edges of the ATC. I put 3 gold gems down the centre of each butterfly and dotted some pearls drops randomly around.

Aimee enjoyed making the ATC's for her homework so much last year that she wanted to join in with the swaps again this year here are her ones.

She made them all basically the same just changeing the background colour and the layout of the stars.

Easel Cards at Incy Wincy

Good morning time for a new challenge over at Incy Wincy where this week we want to see Easel Cards. This week we have two fab sponsors Craft Classes Online and Dr Digi Stamps. Dr Digi very kindly allowed the DT to pick a stamp each to use I choose Birthday Cheese, I coloured it with my pro markers adding glossy accents to the lenses. I used a gold sakura pen to draw some lines over the flash. I went with rainbow stripes and continued the colours into the sentiment and the card candy as I remember having a Polaroid camera as a kid and I' sure it had rainbow strips/ pattern on it. I scored the photo where it meets the camera so it folds flat to go into an envelope. The background I kept really simple as I was using such a large image with just some blue cardstock with black faux stitching drawn round it.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Sweet Stampin - Masculine
A Gem Of A Challenge - Birthday Card for a Boy
Alphabet Challenge - X for Xperiment ( It was a real experiment to use the image this way)

Jolly The Jiraffe

Today's card is one I made for Aimee's birthday back in November some how I didn't get round to blogging any of them . I choose this cute image from Teddy Bo called Jolly the Jiraffe as Aimee has a teddy giraffe that she takes to bed every night who looks just like this image. I cheated and used the pre coloured version as I was short of time. I used up some scraps of paper which were sat on the side of my desk unfortunatly I can't remember which pad they came from originally. The sentiment is heat embossed and the flowers are some paper ones from my stash held together with a brad.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
The Kraft Journal Make It Monday - Take Your Pick ( Patterned Paper/ Die Cut/ Embossing)
Crafty Cardmakers - Something Old Something New ( Old- Papers, New, Image)
