Make Us Laugh At Incy Wincy

Good morning Monday has flown round again which means it's time for a new challenge at Incy Wincy which this week is Make Us Laugh. We have two fantastic sponsors this week first up is Bugaboo Stamps ( who kindly gave the DT some images to use) and secondly My Creative Classroom.
I have used this fab Crabby Cathy image from Bugaboo to make this wall hanging I can so relate to this image as this has been me at work for the last few weeks somebody in their wisdom decided we needed new computer systems and we have had nothing but problems since. I coloured the image with my promarkers adding glossy accents to the start and heart. The paper is form a Bo Bunny pad I think.

Pink & Green at Totally Gorjuss

Good morning time for a new challenge at Totally Gorjuss where this week we want you to use Pink & Green. My card this week is for one of Aimee's teachers, her class is called Aliens so Aimee thought it would be a good idea to have an alien on the card so she looked through my digi's and found this alien / monster from Pollycraft which she thought was highly funny as he has pants on. I've coloured the image with promarkers adding some glossy accents to his eyes and toenails. The pink paper is from Dovecraft Back To Basics and the green paper is from a MME pad. I added some pink enamel dots under the stamped sentiment and die cut a couple of green stars which I then covered with stickles.

I've coloured the butterfly up with my promarkers adding some glossy accents the the body and the head. I cut the top of the front off the card blank using my spellbinders dies. Bright Funky Colours at Incy Wincy

This weeks challenge at Incy Wincy is Bright Funky Colours and we are sponsored by QKR Stampede who were kind enough to give the DT an image of their choice to work with I picked Peace Cat. I coloured him up with my promarkers and then fussy cut him out. I used silver embossing powder on his necklace and glossy accents on his sunglasses.  The base is a piece of Basic Grey paper not sure which pad as I have 2 which are similar where the front covers have fallen off. The square under the image I created using distress inks and my retro dots stamp from visable image.

Happy Fathers Day to all the dad's out there. This is the card I made for my wonderful dad this year, I used this fun alien digi from Pollycraft. I coloured him up with my promarkers adding some glossy accents to his eyes to highlight them. The paper I think might be Basic Grey and the sentiment was done on the computer.

Dad at Totally Gorgeous

Morning time for a new challenge at Totally Gorjuss where this week we want to see cards for Dad. My card today is for my Father in law for Fathers Day which here in the UK is tomorrow. I've used this fun sheep image from Scribbles Designs, I used woodwares fluffy stuff to give his head and body a woolly appearance.

I'm not sure where the spotty paper is from as it was a loose piece in my drawer I mounted it on Kraft card. The sentiment is one I did on the PC and continues onto the inside of the card as you can see below. I added another smaller image of the sheep adding some grass around his feet with a pro marker.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Faux Techniques at Incy Wincy

Good morning Monday has come around again which means it's time for a new challenge at Incy Wincy where this week we want to see Faux Techniques on your project and we are sponsored by the fab Doodle Pantry, who kindly gave the DT some images to use. I used their forget me not image on my card and choose to use the uncoloured version so I could colour it with my promarkers. To make the faux metal back ground I simply took a sheet of card the right size for my card blank covered it with versa-mark ink and then sprinkled silver embossing powder onto it and heated it with my heat gun, I did this 2 or 3 times until I had a good coverage on my card. The next stage was to run the embossed card through the cuttlebug with my divine swirls folder. I rubbed some rub n buff in ebony to give it a slightly aged look. I still wasn't quite happy with it at this stage so I heated it with my heat gun again which slightly melted the embossed lines from the folder which in my opinion made it look more metal like.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Embossing at Totally Gorjuss

Good morning my card today is for the new challenge at Totally Gorjuss which starts today, this week we want to see some Embossing on your creation. Our sponsor this week is Which Craft UK. I seeing a bit of a pattern with my DT cards the last few weeks they all seem to have used Digi Stamp Boutique images completely unintentional they are just cute fun to colour images. This weeks image is Dexter Holding a Sign and I have coloured him with my promarkers adding glossy accents to his nose and eyes and some silver perfect pearls on his colour. The papers are from Fancy Pants Swagger pad ( these are just about the last of these papers now I really need to find some more male papers) and I added a few silver card candy as embellishments.

S J Crafts June Challenge

Wow the last month has just flown by {I think I must be getting old was going to say I don't know where this year has gone} anyway I digress it's time for the new challenge over at S J Crafts where this month we have a colour challenge for you. Jennifer has put together this lovely picture to help you with your inspiration.

Now I was sat at my desk thinking how the heck was I going to produce something in those colours when I looked over to the right hand side of my desk where I usually have the latest crafty purchases sat waiting to be used and what should be sat there but the new mini distress ink pads that I bought with a gorgeous bright pink and orange in it and the rest as they say is history.

I took a piece of cream card as my base and using a waterbrush  with the  Picked Raspberry and Spiced Marmalade distress ink from the Mini Distress Ink Pads Kit 1 I swiped the colour across the centre of the card. To make this easier and to keep everything tidy I cut myself a square frame which I held over the top of my cream card while I was painting the colours on. Once I was happy with the colours I stamped the  Dandilion head stamp and the sentiment with Versa Mark Watermark Stamp Pad and then heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. I added 3 orangey/gold gems under the sentiment and mounted the cream card onto some gold card to finish it off.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Sparkle & Spinkle - June Challenge
Fan - Tastic Tuesday Challenge - Summer (my colours are summery)

For the Men In Your Life

Morning all time for another challenge at Incy Wincy this week we are sponsored by the awesome Kenny K and we want to see projects for the Men In Your Life.
I used Soccer Boy from Kenny K for my card coloured with promarkers. I kept the card really simple mainly because I had to make this sat at the kitchen table as Mark is back to working nights and my craft stuff is all in the bedroom so had to bring down what I needed. The football paper is one I made up using a free clipart image of a football and just printing mutiples on page in publisher. A little doodling around the edge, a stamped sentiment and a couple of punched stars finish it off.
