Bookmark or Tag at Incy Wincy

Morning today's challenge at Incy Wincy is to make a tag or a bookmark and we have two fantastic sponsors for you this week - Delicious Doodles & Digital Delights.
I cut my tag from some cream card and coloured it with worn lipstick distress ink. I then stamped with peeled paint distress ink using my new stamps from Visible Image Grunge Polka Dots and grunge Flourish.
The image is the gorgeous Blossom from our sponsor Delicious Doodles, I coloured her with my promarkers and used some liquid pearls on her bracelet. I added an eyelet to the top of the tag and threaded some matching ribbons through it and added a pearly button to tie them together. As a last touch I scattered some gold gems around the image in a variety of sizes.

I would like to enter my tag into the following challenges:

Cuddly at Totally Gorjuss

Morning all this weeks challenge at Totally Gorjuss is Cuddly. I got asked to make a card for a lady at Marks work who had just had a baby boy so this card is a huge 8 x 8 so that everyone could write in it.

The gorgeous bear is a freebie that I have had forever but I checked and he is still available for free from Ellephantastic Stamps here. The spotty paper is a digi one from Pink Petticoat, as is the gingham paper in the letters for Baby.

I used a Memory Box die to cut the hearts and bows. The letters for the word Baby I did using word art and the layering them over the gingham paper, once I cut them out I stuck the letter over the heart on the die cut so they looked like they were hanging as well. I added tiny tiny pearl hearts to the centre of each bow.

Here's the sentiment I printed inside the card.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Countryview Crafts - New Beginnings
Emergency Crafters - Polka Dots
The Crafters Cafe - Add Glitter
2 Sisters Challenge - Teddy Bears
A Gem of A Challenge - Cute & Cuddly

Furry Friends at Incy Wincy

Good morning hope you all had a lovely Easter and those of you in the UK are enjoying the extra day off work today, back to reality tomorrow morning. Today's post is for the new challenge at Incy Wincy which this week is Furry Friends and our sponsor this week is The Paper Shelter.
Now this week I haven't used an image from our sponsor as I had a card to make for an order which fitted into our theme, the order was for a card for an elderly getleman with a poodle on it, how hard was it to find an image of a poodle suitable for a male card, they all had bows and handbags lol. I finally found this vintage image on Etsy which I thought was ideal. I dug out some very old Basic Grey papers which matched the colours in the image pefectly. I distressed the edges of the papers and rubbed an antique linen ink pad over the edges to match the background of the image.

Die Cuts at Totally Gorjuss

This weeks challenge at Totally Gorjuss is a nice easy one for you Die Cuts. For my card I started by die cutting a window in a card blank and layering a die cut trellis over it. The flowers are made up from Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die, scalloped circles and a woodware flower punch, to which I added a selection of brads and pearls. Behind the flowers I added a couple of green die cut swirl to look like the stems/leaves. The sentiment was stamped and then die cut in the same shape as the window and I added a punched butterfly to the top right corner. All the papers and flowers have been inked with co-ordinating distress ink.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
4 Crafty Chicks - Sentiment Only NoPpictures
MAWTT - A Card Containing The Word Happy

Clean & Simple at Incy Wincy

Good morning I'm back today with a card for the new challenge over at Incy Wincy which today is Clean & Simple, we have two fantastic sponsors this week for you first we have Meljen's Designs and also Iva Nova Chest.
I have used this cute dragon digi from Meljens which I coloured with my promarkers and added some stickles to create a bit of a magical feel. As it's a CAS challenge I've kept the card very simple just layering the image onto 2 sheets of green card and adding a couple of pearl stars to the corner. The sentiment is an old rub on which I applied slightly wonky ( whoops).

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Crafty Calender Challenge - Things With Wings

Charming at Totally Gorjuss

I'm late I'm late ........I feel a bit like the white rabbit in Alice in Wonderland this week I seem to have been chasing my tail all week. Aimee decided last weekend that she wanted a big girls bed rather than her mid sleeper and as she was almost as long as the slide to get off it we agreed, then I got some tins of pink paint for £1 each at work so we decided to redecorate her room. So working in the mornings coming home in the afternoon and painting and off to aqua fit 4 evenings didn't leave much time for crafting this week!
Today's card was a very quick affair as I got my challenges muddled up for Totally Gorjuss I thought I was up to date and then realised I had missed this weeks challenge out. So enough of my moaning this weeks challenge is Charming, either in concept or with the addition of a charm or even both! And we are sponsored by Crafters Companion this week.
Not much to say about my card  as there is not much to it. I cut 3 rectangles from a sheet of paper from MME Now & Then Mildred pad. I pricked the edges of the paper and the card blank with my cutter bug. On the 2 end pieces of paper I have added a flower which I coloured to match , fixed with a sparkly brad and a couple of flat backed gems. On the middle piece of paper I tied some paper twine around it and attached a butterfly charm to the bow.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Crafting Musketeers - Monochrome
Simply Create Too - No Stamped or Digi Images

Easter Card & Egg Holder

Today I have a quick and easy Easter project that is featured on the blog over at S J Crafts today to show you , I made both the card and the egg holder from 1 sheet of Kraft card and 1 sheet of 6 x 6 paper.

So the card is 10 x 10 cm which was cut from the sheet of Kraft card. The paper is from MME Now & Then Mildred pad. I simply cut a strip from a sheet mounted it onto pale yellow paper and stuck it down the centre of my card blank. I coloured a cute Easter image from Pink Petticoat and mounted it on a die cut yellow scalloped circle which is then stuck to the card on foam pads to give it some dimension. I added some Studio Calico wood grain enamel dots to the corners and also in the centre of the flower on the top of the egg. Lastly I used Glossy Accents to make the chicks beak shiny.

Onto the egg holder I cut a piece of Kraft card 27 x 9 cm and then scored 11 cm, 17 cm, 19 cm and 25 cm. I made up a template below if you want to use it. Between the score lines at 19 cm and 25 cm I die cut a circle for my egg to sit into. Once folded up you can see you have almost a box shape with a flat back. I decorated the back similar to my card adding a strip of paper with die cut image attached. I also added a strip of paper and some enamel dots to the front of the box.

I hope you have enjoyed my project today.
I would like to enter my card and gift into the following challenges:
Digi Haven - Easter with a twist (must use brown)
Cut It Up Challenge - Easter and die cut

White on White at Totally Gorjuss

Hello I back today with a card for the new challenge over at Totally Gorjuss which this week is White on White and we are sponsored by Ribbon Girl.
I always struggle with white on white everyone else's cards always look so elegant. I decided on a Christmas card as it's never to early to start making them is it? I embossed the main layer with a cuttlebug snowflake folder and die cut a star so it slightly overlapped the edge of the layer. Then I die cut a smaller star which I cover with glamour dust to make it all sparkly. A sentiment stamped in silver and some clear gems to finish it off. Don't forget to pop over to the challenge blog to see all the gorgeous cards from the rest of the DT.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Crimbo Crackers - Anything Goes

It's a new month so that means a new challenge over at S J Crafts, this month we have a mood board for inspiration...

You could: Use the colours - Yellow, Green, Peach, White, Cork/Kraft
Use the quote 'Look How They Grow'
Make a page about flowers or plants
Use some of the elements, eg. feathers and stars on your page
Use the composition somehow (eg. two lines along the base of your project)
Or anything else you get from the mood board!

I was inspired by the colours and some of the elements on Jennifer's mood board. I have used kraft card, some pretty yellow striped paper from MME Now & Then Mildred pad.
