Cute little elephant

Before I start I'll apologise for the awful photos I took these quickly as I need to get the card in the post so I took one lot with the flash and one with out and these were the best of the bunch.
This is the card I made for my step mum for mothers day. I've used a base of Kraft card added a pretty piece of paper from a first edition pad cut with my nesties,  I think you can tell from the photo below that the paper is glittery.

The image is a new stamp from Wild Rose Studio called Bella with Flowers coloured of course with promarkers & flexmarkers, I added a little stickles to the centre of the flowers. I used some brown bakers twine to hang a brass heart charm form.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

The ribbon was white originally and has ben coloured with Tattered Rose distress ink. The sentiment was printed onto Letraset's safemat. The lovely scalloped corner was cut with my fab new Die-namics Photo Corners dies.
This cute kitty is a LOTV stamp which has been coloured with promarkers & flexmarkers with a litlle crystal stickles on the flowers. I inked the edge of the shape with the tattered rose distress ink.

S J Crafts - 1,2,3

Gosh I don't know where this year is going to another month has passed and it's time for the new challenge at S J Crafts this months challenge is 1, 2, 3. Here's some ideas from Sarah for you : A child's 1st, 2nd or 3rd birthday, use one (or all) of the number(s) in your title, bullet point your journalling using 1,2,3 .... sure you will come up with more!!!  And the added Extra is: Use 3 of something! eg: 3 buttons, 3 photos, 3 colours!!
I found this one a bit harder and as a card maker had to think outside the box, and then I saw this tutorial and everything fell into place. I've made a mini book of my 3 babies from toilet roll tubes, I have used some of the gorgeous papers from MME Miss Caroline Howdy Doody to cover the tubes. The front and back tubes are glued shut. The three in the middle have been left open so they can hold a tag with all the birth details on. I used kraft card to cut the tags from and added the details were added using Letraset Safemat, to keep the tags flat I added just a couple of small punched butterflies with some liqid pearls down their bodies.
.
On the left pages of the book I have added a punched border as my paper wasn't quite big enough to go round the tubes and embellished with a flower and again a punched butterfly. The writing is again Letraset Safemat and is the meaning's of their names. On the right hand pages I added a photo of them at a few weeks old, more flowers and butterflies and their names which have been cut from DP on my cuttlebug. On the front page I have used a digi stamp from 2 Peas In A Bucket printed onto Letraset Safemat and colored with promarkers. Again the letters for Babies is cut on my cuttlebug and a couple more punched butterflies and another flower.

All the ribbon on the tags and the book ring was originally white and has been coloured to match with my promarkers.
I didn't want to leave the last page blank so found a quote which I thought was appropriate.

Don't forget to pop by the shop blog and check out the other fab inspiration from the rest of the DT.

I would like to enter this ito the following challenges:
Charisma Cardz - Alter It

Flying Dragon

Here's another of Mark's Birthday cards with another dragon from Dustin Pike. Not much to say about this card as I keep it quite simple as I thought the image would look better being a bit bigger than usual and I really liked the pattern on the paper and wanted to let that show. The DP is again from Echo Parks A Boys Life  really loving these papers for male cards not many left now though.

The dragon is coloured with a mix of promarkers and flexmarkers loving the pale colours you get with the flexmarkers. Sentiment and card candy both from Craftwork Cards.

Zombie Birthday Card

This is one of the cards I made for Shannon's birthday which was Monday, I was lucky enough to win some images from The Stamping Boutique and this is one of the one I picked it's called Zombie girl with tea.
I cut a card blank in half and then stuck the image panel overhanging the top to create this shaped card. The striped paper is from MME Miss Caroline All Dolled Up pad and I used my martha stewart zig zag punch on the bottom edge. I used some purple bakers twine wrapped around the card with a tiny black bow charm tied onto it.

I have coloured her with promarkers added a tiny amount of black glitter glue to the flower on the cup and glossy accents to the skulls. I have decoupaged the zombie and the skulls to make them pop from the background.

Here's a close up of her face so you can see her eyes I used crackle accents on them to give them a zombie look.
