Monkeyin' Around at Incy Wincy & a DT Call

Our challenge this week at Incy Wincy is Monkeyin' Around so we want to see a monkey on your projects.  I have coloured my image with promarkers and the papers are from Papermania secret garden pack which I've had in my stash forever.

Now whilst your here I want to let you know that we holding a DT call at Incy Wincy, as we have sadly lost a few of our girls in the last few weeks,to find 2 new members of our team to finish out the term and maybe a bit longer. My first Whiff of Joy stamp

 I've made this card for my DH for valentines day, I saw this stamp being offered as a prize on a challenge blog and just had to buy it, seem to be having a lot of those moments at the moment. I have coloured the cute little Dragon, which is from Whiff of Joy, with my promarkers adding some glitter accents to the wings and hearts with stickles. I haven't used any DP on this card just some sticky back silver glitter film and white card which has been embossed with a cuttlebug hearts folder. The sentiment is a diecut again from the silver glitter film.

A card for Rhys

This is a card is for my son who birthday is on Thursday can't believe he is going to be 12. I have used this fab freebie from Lilyboo Designs at Cuddly Buddly if you haven't already checked out these freebies then take a look as there are loads of cute ones. I picked this one as it reminds me of my son with his BMX bike and his sticky up hair.

 I have coloured the image with my promarkers and heat embossed the bike frame with silver and the sadle with a clear gloss. The papers are Basic Grey Oliver. I have cut the border with my Martha Stewart Zig Zag punch and added some card candy along the bottom. The sentiment is printed onto the patterened paper not sure where it was from as it was saved in my odds folder.

Winter Wonderland

 This week at Incy Wincy our challenge is Winter Wonderland and we are sponsored by the fab Robyn's Fetish who are offer a fab prize of 2 Digi's.

They very kindly supplied the DT with some fab digi paper and images to use, I chose to use this image My Mittens on my card.I have paper pieced the mittens with cream paper from my stash and some of the printed pink paper and added a little stickles to the hearts. I cut the drawn ribbon of the image and attached a piece of ribbon to the mittens and then mounted them on some circles cut with my nesties. The DP is from the digi pack and I have added a tiny gem to the centre of the snowflakes. The sentiment is a rubber stamp which has been stamped with distress ink. I finished the card of with distress stickles around the edge of the cream card

 I made this card to send to a couple who have just found out they are expecting. The image is from Pink Petticoat and is coloured with promarkers I have heat embossed her necklace and earings with clear gloss and added a tiny amount of sparkle to the top of the booties and her hair bow. The papers were a free download from Creative Cottage, I have used my swiss dots embossing folder on some of the plain paper. The flower is cut with a marianne creatables die finished with a metal flower and a pearl brad. The ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons and has been coloured with promarkersto match.

 Well I took advantage of Bugaboo's fantastic offer of 60% off their stamps and bought this fantastic Gus image, I thought it was perfect for my Dad whose birthday is in a couple of weeks.

 I have coloured Gus with my promarkers adding gloss to his balloons, glasses and the clock face. The papers are from Basic Grey Cupcake pad and the sentiment came with the image and has been printed directly on to the DP.

How do you do it?

 Sorry this post is late I've got a rotten head cold and only remembered when I got to work this morning.  This week at Digi's With Attitude! we have a great challenge for you we want to see how you make raindrops on your cards, do you use stickles, glossy accents or do you have another way to do them?

I have used KitKat this week on my card who you can find with all the other animals with attitude here. I have coloured with promarkers and paper pierced her umbrella with some basic grey papers and then added stickles as raindrops on the top of the umbrella.

Monochromatic Madness

Wow where is January going I can't believe we are halfway through the month already so its time for our next challenge at Creative Craft Challenge, which is Monochromatic Madness, we are sponsored by the fab Digi's With Attitude! who are offering a $10 Gift Certificate as a prize and Whiff of Joy who are offering one of their brand new stamps.

Digi's With Attitude have kindly given all the DT some images to play with I choose to use one of the fab new Tweens, Texting Tween, boy are these tweens fun to colour. She is as usual coloured with promarkers I have then cut her out and used sticky pads to make her stand out from the card. The papers are Pink Petticoat with some silver peeloffs which I have coloured pink around the edges. I've added some pink card candy down the edge and the sentiment which I'm reliably informed is text talk for Happy Birthday is a digi download not sure where as I have had it for ages and not used it.

This week see the release of some new bear images at the ATTCC shop so our challenge this week at Incy Wincy is bears. Our sponsor this  week is  ATTCC who are offering the winner a fab $10 voucher to spend in store. 

I have used one of the new bears on my card isn't he a cutie. I've coloured him with promarkers. The spotty DP is from Paper Cellar's Wedding pack and the brown is from DCWV. I've added a punched border for some interest and some flowers that have been coloured to match with pearls added for the centres. The sentiment is done on the computer.

Green & Black at Digi's With Attitude!

This week at Digi's With Attitude! our challenge is to make a card with green & black. The Dt have all used Rockband Tween on their cards and let me tell you these tweens are so much fun to colour.

 I have coloured her with promarkers adding some highlights with a sakura silver pen on her gutair and earing. The papers are from DCWV Rockstar pad.

 I used these small clear plastic stars down one side of the card and on the other side I have made a swirl with tiny black gems.

I decided to make this card for my DS birthday which is at the beginning of the next month so I picked one of the fantastic Birthday Monkey's this one is called Cake. I have coloured him with promarkers and added some clear gloss heat embossing to the icing on his cake. The papers are all from Basic Grey Oliver. The sentiment is a Papermania one and the card candy are from Craftwork Cards.

New things

My order arrived yesterday from Quixotic Paperie arrived yesterday so I had a quick play with it. I ordered the Basic Grey - Marjolaine pad and Whimsey ticket die and some ticket stamps to go with the die.

 This Tilda was sent to me by the lovely Rainmac, thankyou, think she is a christmas one but I think she can be used as a birthday image as well. I have coloured her with promarkers and used a little distress stickles The papers are of course my new Basic Grey ones, the edges have all been distressed and inked with tatterd wood distress ink. The ribbon at the bottom is from Crafty Ribbons its laid over some Raffia, that was a must have buy that I've never used, it was pastel yellow colour so I coloured it with my promarkers to match.

The Sentiment is one of my new ticket stamps cut with the ticket die. The butterfly is a cut with an x-cut punch from vellum and I added some tiny gems down the middle and a little distress stickles to the wings.

New Years Resolutions with Digi's With Attitude!

It's our first challenge of the new year at Digi's With Attitude and we want to see a card that represents your new years resolution. 

 For my card I have used Grumpy Gretchen Work Out, perhaps if I keep to my resolutions one day I may just look like this! Gretchen is coloured with promarkers, the papers are Basic Grey Lemonade and the sentiment is typed on the computer. The border was punched with an my new border punch and the ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons.
