Creative Craft World - Challenge 6 Fathers Day

This time the challenge on Creative Craft World is Fathers Day. Here's the scrapbook page I have put together, the papers I have used are Cherryarte Basic Blues and some bazill card in matching colours which can all of course be boughtfrom Creative Craft World shop.

The photo shows me riding my bike with my Dad and my baby sister I think I must have been about 4 in this photo. The stripes on the edge of the photo have been cut from one of the sheets of paper as have the circles, which I have cut using my nesties and then mounted on foam pads. The lettering has been cut from bazill using my cuttlebug.

Stampin with the Dragon Challenge 2 - Summer Theme

For our second challenge on Stampin with the Dragon we have a summer theme, we are sponsered this time by the lovely Stitchy of Stitchy Bear Stamps.
For my card this time I have used this fab image from Stitchy called Flip Flops I have coloured her with promarkers using my blender pen to add some spots to her bikini & hairband.

I'm not sure where the papers are from as I bought them ages ago and the stackno longer has its cover. the sentiment is cut from one of the sheets and I have used my sakura glitter pen to highlight the word sunshine not that it shows in the picture very well. I have also drawn a line around the blue card with this pen. The ribbon has been colored with a promarker to match and the green dew drops are from my stash.
The little flip flops were sent to me in a stash swap so I'm afraid I can't tell you where they came from either.

Butterfly Tilda

The fab Choccy sent me some stamped images and this was one of them, I decided last night that I wanted to make a girly card this is what I ended up with. I don't very often use yellow so not sure why I did.

I have coloured her with promarkers with a little stickles added to her wings and some pearl on her antenna. The papers I think are Laura Ashley which I recieved in a stash swap. The card stock is papermania and I have used my fiskers heritage corner punch on the corners of the image.

The roses are from Hobbycraft and again I have added a little stickles to them. The pins are from Quixotic Paperie.
I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Fab n Funky - challenge 25 - a little sketchy
Passion for Promarkers - week 53 - Anything goes

A simple fathers day card

I made this really simple Fathers Day Card which I'm really pleased with. The Sentiment is part of the Dad's Sentiments 1 pack from Stamping Dragon Designs.

I have printed the sentiment out on some blue Bazill card and then cut it out with my spellbinder frames, I've then cut the frame again but in coredinations card, embossed the pattern around the edge and then sanded it to allow the black core to show through. I've then added a blue eyelet and some blue ribbon to turn the whole thing into a tag. I have used foam pads to raise the blue section.
The backing paper was from a stash swap I think it is papermania but not sure which collection and then I have added some card candy from craftwork cards to finish it off.
I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Allsorts week 53 - Tag/Label
Die Cut Dreams challenge 49 - Words no stamped images

This months swaps

Now I know that all my swaps have been recieved this month I can post the pics on here. This months card swap theme on Crafty Place was Summer.
The fab Choccy sent me this Tilda image which was perfect for this theme, she is coloured with promarkers with some stickles on the top of her ice cream. The papers are from Digital Diva Designs, one of their freebie packs called Dog Days of Summer I have distressed all the edges with my scissors and then used crystal stickles around them.
The flowers are Prima E-line ones which again have had the stickles treatment finished witha blue gem brad in the middle. The butterfly has been piunched from pink vellum and finished with stickles and some tiny gems.

I made this quick card to put in with CT's stash swap. The card blank has been embossed with my daisy folder, the image was a freebie digi from Meljen's Designs coloured with promarkers.

The theme for the ATC swap was fantasy this month I have used this silhouette from Stitchy Bear Stamps called Relax. I have printed her onto white glitter paper which is mounted on silver mirror card and then some black glitter card. I have then added some tiny pink gems to her wings and made some swirls in the corners.

My first attempt at a tent card

I keep seeing tent cards on blogs so thought I would have a go at one, this is my first attempt, well I say my first but thats actually sat in the bin so I suppose really this is my second one lol. I have used 2 6x6 squares of bazill, one of which I have covered with Basic Grey paper and cut an oval aperture with my nesties.

This is the side on view so you can see how the card stands up I have used ribbon to tie the tops together.

I've used my princess Tilda stamp again and coloured her with promarkers and added some stickles to her crown, gloves and shoes. She is attached to the card with a gold jump ring.

The flowers are cut from 2 shades of pink bazill and the basic grey paper, each one is joined together with a brad and I used a cocktail stick to curl the petals. On the bottom flower I have attached a charm and a few beads to the brad using an eye pin. The butterflies are punched from pink vellum with a little stickles and some tiny gems for decoration.
Finally I haven't added a sentiment to the front of the card as I thought it was busy enough so have used the oval that was cut out of the front to put a sentiment on the back and decorated this with a couple more flowers and a butterfly.
I would like to enter this in the following challenges:
Simon Says Challenge - A tent card with charms

Incy Wincy Blast fom the Past challenge

When I saw this challenge on Incy Wincy Challenge blog I knew straight away which image I would use, this is the fab Sixties Babe from Stampin Dragon Designs. The image comes as a ready coloured one and as a digi stamp ready  for you to colour. I've coloured most of the image on the computer apart from the skin as I couldn't find a colour that looked right, so used my promarkers for that. The papers are a digi download from Scrapbooks gone Digital called Retro Summer paper pack. For the back ground I have printed off panels of the paper and stuck them in a grid pattern using sticky pads to lifte them of the card I have used some stickles on some of the patterns on the paper. The flowers are punched out of the same paper with a small green gem added to the middles.

Beer mat memo boards

I've been blogg hopping again and came across this blog with these little memo boards on so heres my version . They are made from 1 & half beer mats, the front of this one has PennyLane papers from MME layed onto brazill card. The Memo board part is a square of white card which I have laminated to make it wipe clean layered onto some pink card.  The butterflies are cut from pink vellum with my new embossing punch from X-cut & decorated with some tiny gems and a bit of silver glitter.
I printed the word notes off and then cut with a die the border is part of the same die just cut on green card.

I thought Iwould have a go at a male version with the other half of the beer mat. I need to get some black ribbon to finish it off. Not sure what the paper is as Sarah (Rainmac) sent it to me for crafty place card swap prize this month I think it was papermania, she very kindly wrote where the papers where from but do you think I can find that piece of paper. I have just used silver Card Candy to embellish this with.
