Crafty Ribbons - Ribbon challenge 12

I was lucky enough to be one of the first 10 to email crafty ribbons for this challenge and got sent a fab bag full of cherry pie ribbons here's what Imade with some of them.

First of all I made this little bag, using the cherry ribbon as a handle. Then I made a little shaker box using my nesties to cut the frame and some tiny clear seed beads that I bought from a bargin bin yonks ago. I used some more of the ribbon to make a little flower to go on the front finished with a button. The papers are DCWV teen stack and the image is from Pollycraft.

I made this card with this fab monkey image from Dustin Pike I love the cheeky look on its face. More cherry ribbon this time in yellow, the  papers are again from the DCWV teen stack.

Febuary swaps on Crafty Place

This is the ATC that I sent to Melissa for this months swap, the theme was " bling ".

The rabbit is a stamped image which I recieved in a stash swap, she is coloured with promarkers.I triple embossed her shoes to make them shiny added tiny gems to her necklace and a small flower gem on her handbag. The flowers are prima with some glitter addsd and a gem. Hope its blingy enough.

Couple of cards for orders

The first one is a liverpool de coupage layed on some red and white card the corners are punched with my new inverted corner punch. The happy birthday is stamped.

This second one is for an 80th birthday , I cut the shape from a template. I embossed some lilac coredinations whitewash card with my daisy folder and then sanded it so the flowers are lilac, I then covered the rest with white chalk so it shimmers and added silver dots to the middle of the flowers with a gel pen. The hapy birthday is a peel off as are the flowers and butterflys these have been stuck on some lilac mulberry paper and cut out with some lilac gems in the middle of the flowers and then raised from the card with foam squares. You can see the deatil a bit better in this second photo.

Birthday cards

Well yesterday I frightened myself I counted up how many cards I needed to make for next month and got to 15 so thought I better get some made here's a birthday card  not quite decided who this one is for yet.

The paper is from a forever friends pad and the card is coredinations white wash front and back, flowers are prima eline ones coloured with promarkers and a heart bead added as the centre. The images are from The Stamping Boutique againcoloured with promarkers. The butterfly is from a daisy & dandylion set.

Sketch Saturday week 91 and Allsorts week 40

This card is for one of Shannons friends, I have followed the sketch over on sketch saturday and would like to enter it in this weeks challenge on Allsorts which was to use a tag, ticket or label. The image is one of Sugar Nellies manga girls coloured with promarkers. The papers are from a Daisy & Dandylion pad, the flowers are prima finished with pink gems. The sentiment is stamped onto a pearlesent gold tag. Sorry for the terrible photo but there was no natrual light and although it doesn't look like some of the corners are stuck they are I promise.

I wanted to make a wallet card to put some money in for him butcouldn't find a template for on so made this from a dl card blank I just scored across the bottom and cut one side off folded the other up and stuck with a bit of dst. Image is again Pollycraft.

And then this is the card Aimee has mad for her grandad.

Valentine card & box

Here's my valentine card for dh he is dragon mad so when I saw this fab little digi dragon I just had to use him then I saw this fab background at The Stamping Boutique so put them both of them together, coloured them with my promarkers and the triple embossed the hearts with clear embossing powder. The backing paper is from a papermania pad I found when I tidied my desk up. The sentiment is cut using a punch and stamped with white ink.

Then I saw this fab little box on Rusty's blog and shamelessly copied her idea for dh valentine pressie.

Scrapbook for Rhys's Birthday

Last week we took Rhys to see TNA wrestling as part of his birthday present so I decided to make him a scrapbook with the photos from the night to give him tomorrow as a birthday present.

All the papers are from DCWV rockstar and all dressed up.

A card for 2 challenges.

I have made this card for 2 challenges, Sketch Saturday week 87 and Just Cute Bears Challenge 1. I have followed the sketch on Sketch Saturday and the theme for Just Cute Bears is One for the Girls. The paper is from the free MME pack with this months Cardmaking & papercraft magazine. Not sure what the image is called as I was sent it in a stash swap.

Doodle Dragon challenge 2

Here's my card for challenge 2 at Doodle Dragon Studios challenge blog. This weeks challenge was a sketch. Its another card for my sons birthday the image is one of  Dustin Pikes fab drawings, it reminded me of my son as soon as I saw it I have been waiting a while to use it I'm sure I will use it again soon. The Monkey is mounted on white and green cardstock which has been cut with nesties and the edges inked, the strip of white underneath has also had its edges inked and been run through the cuttlebug with the swiss dots folder. The background paper is from DCWV.

My first easel card

I know I'm a bit slow but here is my first easel card I have admired everyone else and finally got round to making one myself. Its another birthday card for my son. The image is from mo's digital pencil coloured with promarkers and the backing papers are from the fab cd that I won on the allsorts challenge blog from Funkyhand called Funky Daze. The brad, card candy and cardstock are from my stash.

Tom's Mum KISS challenge & birthday card

Here's my card for Toms mum KISS challenge over on MSE. The image is a free stamp off of a magazine mounted onto some silver and pink card. I have embossed the side of the card with my cuttlebug and run some ribbon down the join and added silver dots to the centre of the daisys with a gel pen.

The second card is for my sons birthday he will be 11 next month where does the time go. The image is a freebie image from here. Isn't it fab? the papers are from DCWV rockstar stack the sentiment is a stamp from personal impressions and I've used some card candy in the top corner.

Another fab sketch this week at allsorts here is my card image and papers are all from a forever friends pad. The image was cut from a sheet of paper with my nesties and mounted on some brown card.

Crafts 4 eternity recipe challenge 15

heres my card for this challenge in which you had to followthe recipe of 1. the sketch, 2. include a dog and 3. use a check pattern. Again not sure what this image is called as I recieved it in a stash swap. The papers are from a Forever friends pad and the sentiment was done on the computer.

Sketch Saturday challenge 85

Here's my card for this weeks challenge. I'm not sure where the image is from as I recieved it in a stash swap, I have coloured it with my promarkers. The papers are basic grey and if you look closely you can see the lace tape I have added . The flowers are punched with a woodware punch out of the same papers and finished with a small glitter brad and small flat backed pearls.

Winter Wonderland challenge 33

This weeks challenge was to make a card from the sketch provided. I 'm not sure where the image is from as I recieved it in a stash swap, its mounted on the back side of some white wash card. I have embossed some more of the whitewash card with my swiss dots embossing folder and lightly sanded it to allow the colour through. The backing paper is from a daisy & dandylion pad and the sentiment was done on the computer.

Wedding Invites

I have spent all afternoon making some wedding invites for an order. I have made a pocket card the cream card is embossed on my cuttlebug , the gold insert is an antique gold colour in real life all though it looks much more metalic in the picture I bought it from this fab ebay seller who was really helpful I also got matching envelopes from the same seller. The cream square on the insert is cut with nelly snellen dies and then I have cut a heart outof the gold card and embossed it. The ribbon is from my local haberdashery shop and the gold charms were from ebay. The writing on the back was printed on the computer and cut out using my nesties on the cuttlebug.

One stop craft challenge 61

The challenge was something beginning with 'B'. The image is a daisy and dandelion stamp, the papers are basic grey and the cardstock is DCWV.

Allsorts challenge week 33

Here is my card for this weeks challenge which was to be good and used up your old stash or show off your new christmas goodies and follow the sketch provided. I have used my new fairy doodles stamp for the image. the striped paper and the sentiment are from a fab freebie from here . The cardstock is all from my new DCWV pad that I got in the sale.
