Pollycraft challenge 25 - 5 s words
This weeks challenge was to use at least 2 of the 5 s words - SNOWFLAKES, SPARKLE, SPOTS, STRIPES, SWIRLS. With a bonus of a free download image if you include all 5.
The image is one of the friday freebies, layered on to coredinations whitewash card which I have run throught the cuttlebug in the swiss dots folder and sanded to bring the blue through. Not sure what the background paper is as it was sent to me in a stash swap as was the snowflake brad. The ribbon is from anitas and the silver netting is from my stash. The swirls were cut on my cuttlebug again cordinations card sanded and finished with blue pearls and the greeting was sent to me in a stash swap.
I have managed to use all 5 in my card I have stripes on the background paper, snowflakes are also on the background paper and there's a snowflake brad, the card behind the image has spots, I used swirls on the sentiment and lastly sparkle on the fur trims on the image.

The challenge this week was to make a card using bits of scrap paper and diecuts.
The paper is didtressed vines from funky fairys they were bits left from another card I made I joined the pieces with some silver peel off borders. The image is a new stamp I bought called Lily - I Love Shopping by Rachelle Anne Miller and coloured with promarkers. The flowers are the new eline ones from prima coloured with promarkers, I have highlighted the embossed bits with a silver gel pen and finished with silver card candy. The swirls are cut from a left over piece of mirri card with my cuttlebug.

Here's my first attempt at making an advent calender out of match boxes. The papers I have used were from the christmas stash swap on crafty place, the brads were from my stash and the sides are decorated with peeloffs. So 1 down 2 left to do now I just need a good use for all the hundres of matchs I have got lol.

Thankyou cards
This was a sample to see if the bride and groom liked the design. I have used my cuttlebug to emboss the card for this thankyou card. The stamp was one I got from my local shop stamped in silver and mounted on some silver card. A piece of blue ribon tied at the top and finished with a silver heart brad and then the ribbon at the bottom should be blue to but didn't have enough to make this sample card so used white again finished with a brad. Just got to make 40 of them now.

Wedding towel cake
I have made this as a present for the wedding we are going to at the weekend. The bottom tier is 2 bath sheets, the middle tier is 2 bath towels and the top tier is 2 hand towels though I had bought flannels to but must have forgotton those lol never mind. Inside is a vase and 2 candles. The blue flowers are coloured with my promarkers as it looked a bit blank with all white flowers against the white towels. Hope the happy couple like it.
