Tri-fold shutter card

I have made this tri-fold shutter card for an order at work. I was asked to make a card for his Mum, my brief was a mumsy card hope this fits.

Crafty Place August Challenge and Funky Fairys challenge 29

This months challenge over on crafty place was to make a Christmas card without using Gold, Red, or Green and the new funky fairys challenge was to make a christmas card.

I have used papers from Funky Fairys free purple pack, the snowmen are embossed with white glitter powder and coloured using promarkers. The ribbon on the side is to hide that I cut my paper to small and on the other side I had to trim the card back as I tried to glitter the edges but ran out of glitter half way through so wiped it off but it ruined the edge of the paper so had to trim that side of the card off. Don't think it looks to bad cosidering all the things that went wrong.

Roary and messy rabbit

Here's a couple of cards I made this evening. The first one is from the messy rabbit cd and is for my BIL the name was cut on the cuttlebug. The second one is for Aimee's boyfriend Billy who will be 4 he is mad on roary at the moment. I have put his name on the cup roary is holding and again the letters were cut on the cuttlebug and the number 4 is a peeloff coloured red to match the writing.

Funky Fairys challenge 28

Here's my card for this challenge "Black and White ". The backing paper is a funky fairys free paper. The word are done using wordle. The peeloffs are coloured black with a marker pen.

Wedding Bookatrix

I need to make a wedding card for Marks sisters wedding at the end of the month so thought I would have a go at a bookatrix card here's the results. The pink one is for another wedding later in the year but thought I would get it done at the same time. I'm really happy with them apart from that the peeloff won't stay stuck down on the blue one as you can see in the picture will have to get the glue pen out tomorrow.

MSE challenge - baby

decided to make a boy and a girl one thought I could put them in the box for the staffroom at school.

Funky Fairys Challenge #25

Here's my card for this weeks challengeI have downloaded the free christmas purple pack and printed the background directly onto the card blank , I have also used another purple paper from the pack the pale purple on the squares and retangle and embossed it with the cuttlebug. The corners are cut on the cuttlebug to and glittered with stickles.

This card is my entry for the new mse challenge I have embossed the cream card with my cutlebug.
These cards are last of the ones for the kids teachers just got to finsh 2 more books now.

Teachers gifts

I've been busy making gifts for the kids to give to there teachers this week to say thank you. I used notebooks from wilko's for 44p and covered them in pretty paper added the teachers names and then made a little box to hold a kitkat to match. Have made 4 so far 2 more to go.

MSE Christmas card challenge

Here's my entry for the christmas card challenge I found it really hard to make a christmas card in the summer just doesn't seem right. I have used free papers from Raspberry Road Designs for the background and the corners which I cut on my cuttlebug. The image is a stamp from High Hopes and just makes me laugh I thought it was perfect for making a christmas card in the summer. The papers under the image are from my freebie pack from the craft superstore. I used stickles on the

edge of his hat and the bobble and on the umbrella in his drink and on the corners to add a bit of christmassy bling

I've been playing with my new cuttlebug

Well I have embossed everything in site and cut out all my dies had great fun and in the process I made this card for a lady at work who helped me out.

It 's on a white square card blank with the corners rounded, then some pale aqua hammered card then a piece of aqua vellum that I embossed with my paisley folder and then on some more of the hammered card I stamped the thankyou image added a paper flower with a card candy to finish.

Plane card

This card is for an order. The gentleman who's birthday it is used to be a pilot hence the theme.

The writing is heat embosed in silver and I added markings to the plane to turn it into a british airways plane.

Some more cards

This is my favourite card of the 2, I am struggleing to come up with any ideas at the moment nothing looks right to me I keep sitting down to make cards but seem to have run out of ideas.
I used the messy rabbit cd to print off the image on this card and the border on the left. The spotty paper was from drawer of papers I have printed but not used. The ribbon tied around the image was from my stash. The flower is a paper one that I ordered off ebay and the brad has been heat embossed with black glitter.

Although you can't see it in the picture the top brad says Happy and the bottom brad says Birthday I got a pack of these brads in the Range reduced to 49p a couple of weeks ago. I mounted them on holographic card and stuck them with foam pads onto some pink glitter paper and mounted that on some more holographic card.

Crafty Place challenge with a twist

Rusty came up with a great challenge to alter a container. I found this box at the back of my craft cupboard. I used acyrlic paint to cover the box and then used some basic grey papers to mount Tilda on. The added some flowers attached with brads to the top right corner and some card candy in each corner and finished it off with some silver peel off lines.

Crafty Place june card swap - theme pink

Here's my first attempt at a pocket card, it for for the june card swap on crafty place. I have heat embosed the words on to pink acetate. The fairies on the card are embossed with clear powder and then I put some stickles around them. I also added so glitter with my sakura pen. The papers are from dovecraft fantasy pack.

Crafty Place June Challenge

This card is for the June challenge on Crafty Place.

The image has been coloured with pencils and mounted on blue paper. The multi coloured paper and the ribbon were from this months stash swap. I stamped small silver flowers onto the ribbon.

FIL birthday cards

Here's the cards I have made for Fil birthday on Saturday. This one is a decoupaged fishing basket. The second one is a flippen men gardening one.

MSE fantasy challenge

Here's my card for the fantasy challenge. The Unicorn is from Greetings Farm coloured with watercolour pencils. I have heat embosed the horn with white glitter and the hooves with black glitter. Its mounted on silver card with blue and silver ribbon running across the card.

Crafty Place ATC swap

Here's my first ATC, now that Melissa has recieved it I can post the picture. Sorry its not a great picture didn't look at it untill I had posted it off. The image is a greetings farm one that I coloured with pencils and then added gems for the necklace and a flower to her hat.

Fathers Day Cards

Here's all the fathers day cards I had to make. Have really struggled with my hand today and I'm now paying for spending most of the day making cards never mind they are all done now.

MSE challenge card

Here's my card for this weeks challenge which was to use the sketch flourgirl picked. I'm not sure whether I really like it or not one minute I do then I don't. I think I should have used the swapped the papers round so the card wasn't so dark. The image is heat embossed with black glitter.

I decided to sit in the garden and make some cards today. Here's one I made for my dad for fathers day it's a Remember When Decoupage.

This one is a wedding acceptance for my sil wedding in August not what I had planned at all but I'm happy with it.

Ring Cushion

Here's the ring cushion I have made for my sil wedding. You can't really see in the picture but the ivory ribbon coming down the cushion diagonally has their names and the date of the wedding printed on it.
