Last Mothers Day Bits

I managed to finish up the last of my mothers day cards today and the little gifts I'm sending with them. I have used a Sarah kay image on this card which has been coloured with promarkers. The papers are Basic Grey and all the edges have been distressed. The sentiment was printed directly on to the paper and was a freebie from My Grafico it should have a rose to the side of that but I took that part off. The butterfly is an x cut punch, I've cut one in pink paper and the stuck a second one cut from pink vellum on top. The large flower is made up of Prime eline flowers which have been coloured with promarkers and fixed together with a pearl brad and the smaller flower is a cherry blossom which again I have coloured, I removed the stamen from the middle and put another brad in so it matched.
I made these little gifts to send with the cards, they are beer mats that I have covered with DCWV paper and then added a little poem. I've used papermania buttons to make the heart on the first one and used some flowers to decorate the second one.

I would like to enter the card into the following challenges:

I've added a panel of Kraft paper from Craftworkcards which has silver swirls & butterflys on it.

I've used Netty's mothers day sentiment again, although this time I have covered the centre with a circle of card and stuck a butterfly gem on it.

The bow has been made with some organza ribbon and then tied with my mini bow easy and another butterfly addded to the centre. Then for some added sparkle I have used stickles around all the edges.

Under the sea

I've made this card for Aimee to take to a party this afternoon, I decided to use a mermaid but couldn't find one in my stamps so I searched for mermaid stamps and found this fab set from Fred She Said it comes with the mermaid Emma and loads of accessories stamps, sea weed, fish, crab, seahorse, shells etc and a background stamp. Whilst I was searching I found a fab example of a card made with acetate to look like the water and have based my card around that idea. ( I was going to add the link but forgotto bookmark it and can't find it now).

I have coloured all the images with promarkers adding stickles for some sparkle. There is 3 layers to the front of the card, on the bottom layer I have used some blue digi paper that looks a bit like water and then some yellow card which I have embossed with my divine swirls folder for the sand I have added a fish with some balloons, a star fish and a shell, the next layer is some acetate cut with a scallopped edge which I have stickled, a bit more sand at the bottom an.d some sea weed on the sides hide the foam pads that raise it up. Next is the mermaid and another piece of acetate again I put sand at the bottom and sea weed on the sides so  I could hide the foam pads
The base of the easel card is some navy card again embossed with the divine swirls folder with some of the blue digi paper. I added the name of the birthday girl in silver mirri card the letters were cut on my cuttlebug, a little sea horse and the stopper is a scallopped circle cut with nesties and a die cut number 8 which I got on ebay.

Lacey Lovelies at Creative Craft Challenge

This time at Creative Craft Challenge our challenge is Lacey Lovelies and we have 3 fab sponsors for you, Robyns Fetish, Imag'e'nation and Create with TLC. I have 2 cards to show you today the first one is using the fab kitty play image from Robyn's Fetish.

I have coloured the image with promarkers and mounted it on a doily, the DP is from Pink Petticoat and I have used an x-cut border punch along the side and across the border, I have added some ribbon which has been coloured to match.

This second card uses an image and sentiment from Create with TLC, I've kept this one really clean and simple although in reality it took me longer than the first one as my printer decided to throw a hissy fit and locked my computer up completley. I have coloured the image with promarkers and adding so heat embossing to the balloon.to make it shine. I have then mounted the image onto a lacy die cut square in yellow.

I would like to enter the first card into the following challenges:

The pearl stars I got in the sale from Dulhem Mill after Christmas.
