I'm so excited I have been picked to be part of the Creative Craft Challenge DT, and today is a special challenge for them, it's their first anniversary and as its such a special week there is a massive 11 prizes up for grabs, get yourself over to the challenge blog and join in with our Anniversary challenge for a chance to win some of the super prizes on offer.
My first card today is using a sentiment image and papers from Stitchy Bear Stamps. I have printed the sentiment onto som of the digi paper from the pack and then mounted it onto some pink card. Then I have created a frame of flowers, which are from here, around two of the corners, the cherry blossoms were white so I coloured them to match with a promarker.
I have coloured the image with my promarkers adding a tiny bit of glitter to their crowns with a sakura pen. The DP's are Basic Grey Oliva, arn't the colours gorgeous, I've used my heart broder punch down the edge of the turquiose paper and have layers a piece of black card underneath to make it stand ot better.
I found the sentiment on the internet on a verses for cards site and thought it went perfectly with this image. The bow is made from spotty ribbon from another of our sponsors Crafty Ribbons, this ribbon was white and I have coloured it with a promarker to match the colours on the card. I've attached a small clear star button to the top of the bow and tied some silver wire through it and curled the ends.
